Hi Hi, I need some advice for my toilets doorway... I have hacked away the entire old door frame including the top. Now the opening is directly to ceiling height... Henry told me that instant of concrete wall for the top, he will use aluminium frame togather with the aluminium bifold door...just wondor how it looks like... bro, although you are not a hurry to move in but I suggest u still set a firm date of HO with your contractor...it will be better for you and your contractor to arrange for sub-contractors...dun forget it is yearend now... No HO means your contractor will never give you the priority to carry out work...

Hi Jamie, but if the cement screed at your kitchen cracks then if you do it over the pink color tiles, will it have cracklines too? Did he said he will rectify the crackline issue for you? Dun worry too much...stress cannot solve the problem...let your hubby talk to Henry lol... It seem to me more like the contractor or ID want to ensure that things are hand over swee swee to the owner and if later any leakage, they are not responsible...kind of agreement aka report. If I am the owner of the house below a unit...I don't know whether I will sign the agreement or not...unless the form offical from HDB... To me, just ensure that you dun hear any complain from house below you and Henry is responsible enough to help us rectify any work in a later stage... For ceiling or toilet leakage, usually HDB/ town council will sent their men for investigation ...

quick update... Kitchen and 2 toilets wall and flooring work all done up liao, I will said so far 90% Satis as the 10% I will reserved for comments after all the washing... As Henry arrangement, Monday and Tuesday - Ceiling work Tuesday - plumbing work hope wednesday or so can do some painting work liao... Friday arrange for Kronotex to come in to do hacking of the skiting for all rooms and living room... So far everything go soon soon...just a point to note for all doing reno...although contractor or ID will help you to coodinates everything or supposed to but hor if you are like me that want to have fast HO, you must also do your own planning and monitoring...
