Have spoken to them before, but chose another contractor instead as they are charging slightly higher. But if i have the budget, i wldn't mind engaging them as their designs are pretty good. The ID who served us is very professional.

Does Tau do hand drawn 3D drawing for every item? like TV console and wardrobe? is it in colour? For the laminates, are we allowed to choose any type of lamitak laminates? or will there be extra charges?

Hmm.. we not doing any feature wall, cos my old fashion hubby say don't want. But we doing a glass display cabinet for our fengshui ornament, and doing full height shoe cabinet at bomb shelter area.. Most of our reno cost goes to these carpentry works, but nvm lah, its for our home mah.

Cos I'm not a creative or artistic person, so i find it very challenging to go design on my own and ask my contractor to do.. But because of budget constrain, now looking around for ideas lor, if really can't find any suitable ideas, i'll just do a white house, everything in glossy white laminate, no need to think that much.. wahaha..

haha.. ya lah.. living room and dining area is in the same area because ours is a mini flat. At first i wanna do false ceiling for living (TV area), and L box for dining to differentiate the 2, but in e end decided not to. I did nothing to bedroom 2, cos it will be our study room, will just buy ready made tables, chair and sofa bed. no need any carpentry work by my contractor, trying hard to cut cost.. Overall quite happy with the quote that my contractor gave, so shall keep my fingers crossed and hope that it will be a smooth reno.

me! me! i'm from 488! I've collected keys quite some time ago, but waiting for lunar 7th month to be over so that i can start my reno. More or less chosen my contractor, quotation is abt $20k. Mine is a empty flat with no floorings or doors.

Hello Bun Bun, check with you ar. I tried using your cookie recipe last weekend, but the dough doesn't seem quite right leh cos it breaks easily. I've also tried leaving it at room temperature for a few minutes but it still remains the same. Any idea why? Is it because I didn't leave it in the fridge long enough?
