oh yah.. almost forgotten abt this.. Ms Kee told us that her shop will be closed on 14 Nov 09 (Sat) due to "Jia You Xi Shi".. So.. if anyone wants to visit her on saturday, please do it on other days..

haha.. cos' i will be at fort canning for wedding on sat mah.. so i think i will drop by when there are more carpentary.. my place is at blk 727.. sure sure.. we do welcome anyone who wants to visit our place during the reno process.. btw, we went to Summer Hardware Trading ytd.. met up with Ms Kee.. very pleasant lady and has great sense of humour.. hehe.. we din buy anything yet... but def will return to the place and we quite like Ms Kee's service.. so now.. we hv to search for Aircon!

hehe.. thanks! reno will start on 23 Nov (monday).. but we will do the praying on 15 Nov (Sunday) plus abit hacking by ourselves since Jason can't do any big scale hacking on sunday. i saw Chip's blog that they will only be around in the morning but I can only make it in the afternoon around 5pm. BTW, Jason told me that for Chip's house, they will be doing the parquet floor today. Can we go in then? how about u?

Update Heehee.. finally we get the keys to our nest!!!! so happy! no more weird weird acts.. managed to get Jason to come to our nest to take a look.. he told us that he 'rested' for 2 days... managed to settle quite a number of things with him.. think i can only upload the pre-reno pics of the house tml cos' is with my HTB..

yup yup! thanks for the advice! we will apply the electrical & water supply right after the 2nd appt.

alamak! owner terminated the power and water supply... can't do the inspection tonight.. dun know why he agreed in the first place to do it tonight. weird... anyway, this owner couple is abit weird weird.. they asked us to pay for the utilities when we are not staying there yet. their logic is because we bought the house le. had to ask the agent to talk to them.. plus, they wanted us to buy their old furnitures and quoted us 50% off. i simply told the lady owner that as we are newlywed, we want everything new. sighz... i wonder if they really need money... every single cent also want us to pay. wonder if anyone has encountered such owners?

wow.. long time nvr 'see' u in RT! where hv u been? yes yes.. i will post the pics... reminded my HTB to bring camera along tonite.. din go Philips warehouse.. cos didn't want to stock the goods at my house... no space..hehe..

yah.. i know what you mean... but the more we look at the marble, the more we can't imagine how it can fit with our thots of the house... anyway, did u read the thread on U&B reno company? seems that there are more and more people giving bad comments abt jason.. wondering where these people come from.. usually they only hv a few postings.. weird.. i hope jason will not turn out to be what they hv described.. else i will be very disappointed..

haha.... we only took a video of the house.... will def take pics of the house once we get the keys on 11 nov! today, my HTB and I had a discussion.. weirdly, both of us hv the same thot of hacking the broken marble ... we din say it out till today when my HTB asked me.. haha.. but but but..... the cost to hack the tiles and replace with tiles is quite expensive.... big investment... muz eat 'grass' le...

finally met up with Jason last nite. Poor guy... he looks very tired ... nevertheless, the discussion went smoothly. may hv some changes to the floor tiles for the toilets. he also advised us not to buy the bathroom accessories first.. Jason will view the house on 12 nov.. and confirmed to do a mini hacking on 22 Nov..
