The carpenter himself is very flexible and willingly make the changes after discussion with him. Some of the changes were suggested by him which includes changing the doors of the cabinet. We are blessed with responsible ID and good carpenter.

Hi chan121, We very much leave to him. Any concern raised he follows up closely. Infact our handover was done much earlier than the initial 8 Weeks scheduled as he really planned everything closely because he knows we were rushing to move in after handing over our previous home.

Was at a dinner event while DH brought the kids up with live update of the house via whatapps. Happy like a tweetie bird with the almost end product Pole system - installation in progress at 8 pm last night. Kitchen counter top is installed too

We also cannot do much in master bedroom, bringing our King size storage bed over. We die die must have a King size cannot compromise on Queen size as DH is tall. So in the master bedroom is just a wardrobe and bed. DH says no TV in the rooms so there is no TV console or TV feature wall too. All the best to your planning and hope you come up with a good idea to optimise the usage of space.

Thanks Mandj I have too many things as I have 2 kids. So instruction to ID was Maximise storage. He came to our home to take measurement and understand what are the things we are bringing over. So all designs are customised to fit in our stuff. My daughter is playing piano and guzheng - both big items. Settee at the recess area is required for my kids to hide their school bags. cannot stand their bags dumped near the door when they come home. Entertainment room is my DH's dream so even though we created a 3rd room, my boy and girl cannot have separate rooms. As for the kitchen, I also came across your blog about the level floorings. I went back to take a look at my own place and nope my floor is not levelled too. For us , it took a longer time for the approval of changing the master bedroom door position as it was facing kitchen. Looking forward to the new look of your house too.

Other things we bought over the weekend. 2 supersingle Glendale mattress at $700 each for the kids. Bath room accessories and we love this Roz Towel racks which can me retract upwards to save space when not in use. Unfortunately the matt finish toilet paper holder are OOS so we have to hop by Sim Siang Choon for a alternative. Besides LED round downlights ( which is out of the norm squarish ones) , we bought this for the bedrooms. DS called it the donut light which was chosen by him.

Latest addition to our home is the Fanco Ceiling Fan. One in the hall, another in entertainment room We are using the same thing now at our current home. But we still go back to the exact same one as I simply love the LED light which I can swirvel to light up a wider range.
