Hey Rasp! woo u just print ur cards? i guess our wedding dates shld be very near each other then... mine's at the end of jan.. urs? we'll be starting our reno immed after getting keys in mid nov.. same contractor as urs.. so far we think he's very responsive n responsible, even if he will be uncontactable, he will let us know in advance.. n he's also gone down for a site visit and highlighted certain things which can and cannot be done.. pity i cant do toilet glass door like urs, cus the existing toilet has a door frame, and we cant hack the door frame without damaging the surrounding wall tiles.. unless of cus we do some white pvc around it, but i think not very nice la.. so save money do bifold door instead.. but still....

i hope the end will be a happy home for u too.. keeping my fingers cross that i can remem and learn from some of the renovation journeys here for my own house... btw, can u pm me too which ID u've engaged?

the latest updates from ur carpenter seems really bad.... not trying to sow any discords here, but if its possible, try to rectify it to wad u want instead of compromising with it.. unless ure really ok with it... afterall ure the one living in this home, not ur ID nor ur carpenter.. if carpenter refuse to rectify it.. charge it to ur ID... hold ur last payment or whatever..

i think... based on my very faint memory, theres a shop at park mall level 2, at the very end of the mall, (sorry forgot which end) theres a big furniture shop that sells lights like this.. which can double up as seats or bedside tables.. very lovely.. but i think pricetag also very lovely....

Hey! thanks for offering to guide me along, but actually we delayed the 1st appt n took the max of 8 weeks for the 2nd appt cus the sellers hadn't found a new place yet, so both parties compromise abit to give them some time n they'll handover to us on time latest by 2nd appt. Haha my 1st appt was 24 sep, earlier than urs but our keys will b later. Hai, nvm la, give us a little buffer time to look ard for accessories n arrangements. When will u be starting ur Reno?

hee im not pro, so i cant advice u on the hall.. u shld bring ur floor plan n go down n visit a few different aircon shops ba.. but dat time i enquired abt the btu for my hall if i wanted to do, was also ard 22k btu i think.. system 3.. btw, different branch GC different salesman different attitude and PRICING too. just get more quotes if u not in a hurry..

Hi Char, we also have a 2-in-1 mbr like yours.. size should also be similar.. we're having a 16k btu aircon for the mbr and a 9k btu for another room... we got our toshiba inverter system 2 aircon from marina GC Victor.. he's quite patient in explaining to us.. (we looked him up thrice before buying from him!) maybe u should try other places like natural cool or coolserve or go back to marina GC to look for victor.. hope he'll be able to help.. btw i think if u dun use aircon more than 5 nights a week, shld go for non inverter ba.. i THINK la..

u can check out art friend... i got a set of 2 for <$20... in matt white... not sure wads the size u want though.. but i didnt use it as a coffee table la.. hth!

hehe yea in fact ive been following ur progress since the 3d.. that one is nice.. but ur current one nice too.. it gives us some idea on how to plan the design on our wardrobe haha gd idea to use the downlight for showering.. cozy cozy! =p btw, ur day curtains is on the inside of the house instead of facing the outside? cus i notice many ppl having the day curtains facing outside.. so wondering if u chose it to be dat way..

i like your white wardrobes with lilac strips... very clean cut feel with simple design... btw.. did u install ur downlight in your bathroom under a false ceiling? only for that basin portion or for the entire bathroom less than shower area?

hee yah actually coffee-o helped with my qn.. but yah anw i guess the height of the tap and the angle of slant of the basin plays a part.. urs is short basin so ok.. this was wad i meant btw.. sorry for the very lousy pic. my ofc pc no photoshop. done using native paint :x ur tap is really super nice.. hee think i'll go to the shop to check it out soon.. check out only.. hahaha

thanks for posting the pic! its really very nicee... looks like its glowing in gold somemore.. one qn, if u dun turn on the tap too big, like if u only turn on the tap for brushing of teeth, does it fall straight down, or abt 45 degree kind? cus my colleague was saying better go for a 45 deg mouth tap, so that u dun have to turn on the tap so big then it will go to the centre of the basin... hehe duno if u noe wad i mean..
