2D perspective of what we would like our home to be.. Colour theme will be mostly white, grey and black.. but will probably inject some colours into one wall in each of the bedrooms.. We've almost gotten an idea of how we would want our entire house to be, except for the most important room, our master bedroom.. well, prolly only the colour combi and laminate material of the study area and wardrobe undecided ba..

Hello! First up, thank you to those who've kindly supplied us with answers to our little questions via pms.. Finally gotten off my lazy butt and start this tblog after surfing around ever since we OTP-ed in july on our 1st place together.. It was a long journey from the start after having balloted for i think 10 BTOs and leftover flats from hage-dee-bee and never getting queue numbers less than 1000, (well only once got 400+ but our top 3 choices were snapped up 1 day before our selection date! ) Also tiring is the process of calling up agents from newspapers for the 1st 2 months after giving up on govt supply, every weekend viewing abt 6-8 flats in sengkang/punggol area till we know where which blocks are... well no choice cus we have a specific layout plus own preference, makes it all the more difficult to find something that fits into our criteria.. So finally we succumbed and got a few agents to look for flats fitting our criteria.. and finally saw one in july... after viewing about 57 flats (yes we kept a record of every flat! haha) Here it goes... our ulu punggol 5-room resale floor plan...

hey ling.. u can try grlink too.. just a few shops down from royal franco.. we like the service at both royal franco and grlink.. most prob will get from these 2.. service more personal.. heard abt heritage at geylang, but havent personally went down there yet..

i find ikea ones abit heavy and easily breakable leh when i was helping my friend do her ikea dishes at her house.. i think ang mo kio central got a shop next to the S11 selling plastic plates... but not cheap yo.. a normal sized nicer shape black/white plate abt $4-$5..

they have 2 shops.... one is a newly opened branch further down the road.. go check out their website to see the addr..

Hey AJ and preciousjam, actually we contacted him in beginning of aug.. smsed and called and emailed our floor plans twice to him alr.. but he did say he would be quite busy with on hands project even in mid nov (our expected start date).. but he didnt get back to us on the quotations la.. sort of like "push" him for the quote liao.. we also very paiseh to keep chasing him for it.. gave up pushing in end of sept.. lol.. but anyways its ok.. we've already firmed up with another contractor... no hard feelings! but im also keen to see more works from yeak.. cus his completed houses' like yours are very nice!

hey heartya, thanks for the info! the white portion looks like a feature wall from the pic sia.. ohh, pull out drawers.. jus looked at the pic again and i realised your electrical stuff is on top of the tv console, so can do pull out drawers.. anyway, i think the entire tv feature and console looks good! simple and nice!

hi felix! we did consider yeak, cus we heard his contractors' workmanship very gd but after chasing him for a month+ for the quotation, he still hasnt sent us any yet, so i guess our reno works too little for him.. hee.. looking forward to more pics from u!

congrats! 6 weeks is also pretty much the time frame given to us for our reno startin in mid nov.. r u doin any hacking or lots of carpentry?
