i bought in a set... they come in set of 16,18,21 i think... err.. think all no need member can enjoy 20% off... but with member maybe got extra 5% rebates lor.. like wad my hubby say, i always go shopping to "collect rent" and see the prices as and when i pass by.. hehh..

i think most reno will have more or less a little delays and hiccups, well nothing is perfect.. so dont worry too much abt the rest that are trying to negatively influence forummers.. even buy furniture also sometimes will have hiccups from the high end shops lor..

your bifold door looks good! simple and nice is the lami-glass "safety glass" heavy? easy to open close?

Danny, issit? hehe i think the rain shower very popular, while we were there yesterday again, a couple came in to buy that set of rain shower set too.. hehe... we went there and got more things from them.. pearly finish kitchen sink, pozzi pull out kitchen tap, master toilet tap, towel rack, and hanging hooks.. Then, we went next door to pj to get our basin and our Cuizino hob, but which is out of stock right now.. More damages occured...

Expenses, expenses, expenses.... We blew 1.4k on toilet fittings at GR Link @ Jalan Besar earlier on, and not including kitchen sink and tap and mbr basin somemore.. everything else more or less settled though.. Service at GR Link by Benny and his wifey is really good.. we went back to them about 1 mth after our initial reccee as the prices and service there was the most competitive among the shops that we went to.. Some of the things we bought... Common toilet's shower mixer and shower bar Common toilet's basin and tap.. hehe Benny placed our tap there for me to visualize.. Master toilet's shower mixer and rain shower.. the height just nice below our beam in toilet.. but hubby too tall, cannot really enjoy the rain shower effect.. We didnt see any basin we liked for the master toilet, so we'll be getting the same one as Angel and simon from pj, Benny will help us get from them too.. Also had bought 2 Casanova 1 piece wc 2 toilet roll holders (very sleek i like!) 2 bidets from Benny.. The master basin tap and kitchen tap still pending, cannot find one i like... Kitchen sink may be getting from another source, a franke sink, but made in italy... duno if really got difference in quality leh..

Hey milkywhite, if you're interested and have the time, you can go down to EDL and lamitak factory at sungei kadut, they give u A4 sized sheets of the laminates ure considering... can make more informed choices from there on.. not sure where Formica's factory is though.. btw, who's your contractor that u awarded ur reno to? ur quote looks pretty reasonable!

actually the tv also not super duper cheap leh... we went to ask for the same model a week ago at harvey, price about there, only difference is freebies and warranty... so end up we didnt get any tv as well..

thanks Angel! hmm.. the cement must stick to the drainer ah? Hubby asked the tiler, he said the stainless steel one will rust after some time wor... my parents' house one using stainless steel, so far no rust yet... but anw, future possible leak is from the floor to the bottom of the tiles?

we'll also be getting our tv at the sitex this weekend.. hopefully got gd deals!

5th day of reno.. Doing well.. wall uncle using big pieces of bricks.. feel safer with that.. Our overlaying of floor tiles in master bathroom is almost done! nice and neatly done.. i can see the gradient there... Tile uncle said he understood the chinese note which hubby wrote to him.. so he aligned 2 of our floor tiles to 3 of our wall tiles... since floor tiles were 30x30 and wall tiles were 20x20.. turns out great! I read somewhere before that we should use stainless steel drainer instead of white pvc ones... cus low quality... wonder if we can still get them to change....

3rd-4th day of reno kitchen cabinet base all done up! fridge base.. due to that stupid column, our fridge extends out by quite abit.. but looking on the bright side, it has air to breathe at the back.. so wont heat up too much.. i hope! its amazing that our contractor managed to find such a closely matched tile to the one dat was supplied by hage-dee-bee 5 yrs ago.. we didnt hack our kitchen tiles in the end even though our friends who came up felt that it wasnt it a gd condition.. but both of us thought we could live with a little "dark coloured" grout aka dirty grout, so as to plonk the funds somewhere else.. i think we made a good decision though... However, can anyone advice on how to efficiently clean the grout eh?

this series 6 model is 610... theres another model for series 6 LCD.. 650... and dat one is a big price difference...

hehe yea! but i think after i do up my wardrobe like yours in mbr, it'll look even smaller... we cant wait to always go back home to check out the process daily, even if it means travelling additional 40 mins to punggol.. haha..
