We got the same bedside table.. but ours is the smaller size compared to yours i think w35 d40... and only at $39 each.. so far still good cus nothing much to put in the bedside tables! =p

hey thirdrock! finally starting soon eh? i see your layout's same as nolit's... and ure having quite a fair bit of open concept stuff eh? lotsa glass too? yah, the mbr toilet is superbly tiny, so we changed to bifold, at least now its not as squeezy in the toilet... haha.. but i realise your basin area at the mbr toilet also got a column of wall, so its shorter by abit... major overhaul it seems.. wads the estimated quote as of now?

pics' size looks alright to me though. and the condition looks great even though its an old house it seems!

hehe, no probs.. agreed! Rasp also helped us alot in deciding our contractor, and now we're happily staying in our new home for the past 1 mth 1 week now.. good thing is, henry has also sent his guys up to our place for some minor rectifications like refilling the white silicon where our cupboards meet the wall/ceiling, and also some other stuff... very efficient even after collecting full payment... from our point of view la.. so of course i hope you have the same smooth journey!

i think the big big piece of plastic "sheet" to protect the floor selling at ikea costs abt $59 or sth like dat... its not cheap.. think its been selling for long long time now... and last time my prev owners also used dat, but end up floor also scratched.... so we bought a $15 rug from ikea instead..

mine so far ok, no smell... but if u say u only smell it recently, and uve moved in for abt a month+ right? so maybe comin from upstairs? :x

some simple food that the 4-yrs-never-cook-me cooked for hubby... poor fella had to endure the blandness... 1st day.. in 0.5 hours to cook and eat... i think its gonna take some time before i can cook anything decent like our moms!

Mummy Lynn, yup its abt $800 for all the rooms, but we did roller blinds for the common rooms, and only night curtains for the study room, but day and night curtains for mbr and living room.. workmanship is good! only issue is, my living room windows height not very equal thruout, so the day curtains abit seng gek.. but cant see now cus the sofa covers it! nolit, actually roller blinds are more ex than curtains leh... thankew! we actually copied the grey colour from SuperSimon after visiting his place.. My coffee table is from OM, but looks the same as dannywmp's coffee table which is from The White @ Novena... delivery on monday tgt with our dining table.. will update soooooon! now we use toyogo box as dining table and coffee table.. hahah thankew Simon! but actually got abit of defect, so will have to live with this piece till the next shipment arrives.. but lucky its near the window side, so nobody can see the defect except us.. hehee..

yup yup samsung 40inch series 6.. gd lucks! he will come down to ur house, with all his samples, to match ur house's decor or colours..

hey joseeng, our tv is 40inch.. bought at 2k with $100 robinsons voucher.. think march's it show shld be cheaper.. all our curtains cost abt 800.. but also subjected to what quality u go for la.. u can contact melvin at 81684889.. he was also recommended to me by tuababy..

somemore furniture before i post the final looks next week... busy with the last min preps for the biiig day! Our LED TV from Mega Discount.. looks good! Display sofa from Furniture Club.. think its gonna be a headache maintaining this white man... Day and night curtains from May Interior Decor.. Very reasonable pricing.. Also did my roller blinds in the common room, as well as curtains in the master and study room from them.. Our lovely dining light from lightings.com.sg... One of our first purchase! but still with a little defect, i hope the next trip they come they can resolve it! Looks like the real thing from far.. but on closer look can tell the difference la.. but wth... its 10x cheaper leh!

Finally shifted in officially to the new place yesterday.. Renovation took a total of 45 days excluding weekends and public holidays.. All's well except for the late delivery of dining and coffee table.. Feels good to have our own home.. Will update with more pics soon!
