Hi Coke, let's get back to the topic about what plants to be placed at your wealth spot... I would like to assume that the fengshui theory used is by examining the exterior landform... If i didnt guess wrongly, it should be on the right side looking into the house right?? looks like our 青龙 has been determined as wealth spot again... Is your "wealth spot" near the window? If it is, then probably putting some plants like money plant which is easy to maintain would be good. Actually something light and not to heavy to suppress its goodness... if it is beside a sofa or etc, then probably a fish tank with moving yang water would activate the wealth spot... Hi xiezi, You are right... knowing how to predict your future by 八字 or 紫薇 would only qualify them to be a fortune teller... as a fengshui practitioner, we should be able to 用神培山 then only can we provide a cure for them... 一命、二运、三风水、四积功德、五读书。 it doesnt stop after you consult a fengshui practitioner, you have to do good also... if you do evil and hope fengshui will get you out of jail... better think twice... the facing of the house determines if it is 座北朝南 or 座南朝北. if the facing of your house is your front door, and the front door is at 南, then rightfully your house seating is 北. Please do not mix up the facing of your house with the facing of your door as alot of pple who first started practising fengshui would get this all mixed up. Facing of the door is the reading taken at the door, whereas facing of the house is the place where there is most movement of qi or human traffic, or the place where the sun shines brightest in the house 最阳的地方。 Hope this helps. GrandPaPa, Isnt asking you how to calculate the Annual/Monthly/Daily flying stars trying to be humble? Since you say this month's Flying Star is 5, is it going to be 4 or 6 next mth?? If you think I'm not humble, then why dont you teach me how to be HUMBLE... then followed by a post teaching me how to calculate the Monthly flying stars? Fishtanks are usually placed in sectors of the house that has timely water stars. This would have to be done by erecting the Flying star birthchart of the house as proposed by gundamy. The configuration of the fish tank can be in such a way that it does not even have to have a single fish. Reason being, moving water is what is required. If you have a AIR PUMP in the TANK OF WATER and NO FISHES or A TANK WITH 8 FISHES, it still provides the required vibes that is need to activate the auspicious water star in that sector. Placing 8 gold fish and 1 black fish in the tank could be due to the fact that 8 in flying stars represents White 8 and White 1 which are both deemed to be good. In addition, in the age of 8, stars 8 and 1 are considered timely therefore this number would be the best configuration for someone who is looking at rearing fishes at home. i think the best if you cant change the location of the stove would be to use a induction cooker whereby there's not going to be a flame... just heat will be produced... then there's no issue for 火烧天门 already... if you dont like the idea of having a induction cooker due to the cost, then maybe you will NEED TO COOK LESSER~ Hope it helps... think i have to agree with derry... if you block the window, then no proper airflow can come into the room... then does your room still have good qi?? if you answered no, then you answered your own question on whether the room is good or bad,...

resale flat? you shld not re-use the stove left behind by the previous owners... the stove represents a new beginning... and also the mother of the house... have you shifted in?? if you have no choice but to keep the stove there, then you got 2 choices... 1. buy an induction stove cooker... no fire... 2. buy a normal stove, but you will have to cook less.... hope it helps...

reflecting doesnt really work... i mean, does it really affect you?? is the sharp corner really so close to your window that it forms a threat to you?? if its like from a far far distance... no point reflecting lah... by the time the qi travels to your house, it would have been badly weakened..

is it possible to make changes to the direction of the stove? and another question is, how is the master/father of the house doing??

hi ivy, we can all learn together ah... if you dont mind that is.. and i totally agree with you on the rules... rules are just guidelines... for example, facing of the house got mountain, and the back of the house got water doesnt naturally mean its bad... if your water and mountain stars are in the correct place, the house is still deemed to be good mah,,,

instead of feeding the man with fish, why not teach the man how to fish??? can you teach us how to calculate the annual flying stars and the monthly flying stars?? would be best if you could also advise us on how to calculate the daily flying stars....

hi bro, if you are talking abt practicality, then maybe on the same level would be better... as for trigram 63, i think why its not advisable is because it means completed. 火灭了 bcoz its a trigram with water over fire mah... trigram 64 is before completion, which means the start of a new family, and to be cautious in the future when cooking, as the story talks about a fox crossing a river with its tail upright careful not to wet its own tail... i'm just learning but i'll ask my master... if i can get an answer, i'll post it then we can learn together how abt that?

i think alot of the pple here would like to know if there has been real life experiences that by putting things in the toilet will be of help? if not then i think the pple reading this thread should be more caution when following...

erm... actually, the reason why the placing of tvs are not advisable in the room is because, of the magnetic field that it produces. if the tv is placed in the room, the pple sleeping in the room would most likely not have a good night's rest... my 2 cents worth from past experiences... felixwong

I am here to LEARN. now back to the topic, if you say the wealth is affected, then could you tell us from which theory are you saying that wealth will be affected? is it from the flying stars, 4 pillars or ba zhai?? if you say its flying stars tat trigger you to say so, then if 8, 9 or 1 so happens to fall in the mountain star, isnt it suppose to affect the HEALTH instead? Please enlighten me... i have no sense of being disrespectful... Thank you.

i think this theory comes from hexagram 64. Hexagram 64 未濟 Wei ji - Before Completion Fire over Water Caution, regeneration, Potential, Clarity. During regenerative times such as these there is intense pressure to succeed but, to get anywhere worthwhile, you need to proceed cautiously and with firm dedication to higher principles. im not very well versed in iching, but above are the meanings of the hexagrams.
