my house is undergoing renovation and my id has given me a quote for electric work. he told me each light i want to have is considered as a lighting point and he is charging 30 dollars for each of them i.e i have 30 downlights, does that mean that i have to pay 900 dollars for them to set up 30 lighting points? what if i have say 4 lights controlled by one switch(is this called looping?), shouldn't that be considered as 1 lighting point and not 4? likewise for T5. i have a feeling he is trying to con me. can some experience bro out there please advice a newbie like me? thanks a million.
