that shows we have great taste... Updates for my windows. Windows were all installed yesterday, except the toilets. When i called to ask, first their answer was, I thought you wanted no window panes? Why would I want a window with no panes? then they said I wanted to install ventialtion fan mah. I did mention to Mark and I told him only 1 toilet window installing. But did not confirm with him. Last week I even called to confirm say BOTH toilets have LOUVER windows So they say will come by to install when they have any installation at sengkang, But I got a feeling that they will probably come when they install my gate. really no comment. Also the workers supposed to be there at 10am, end up they were late and there at 11.30am. Don't really like their service, cos, they did not even have the courtesy to inform us that they will be late. We have to call and ask, then they say, oh, they will be late.... haiz.... Luckily the windows turn out nice. Having white window frames, somehow, the house looks brighter. that's the beauty of white, i guess

Your place looks big, and squarish rooms, easy to do up the place. Met up with any contractors le? Can approach contractors if you know what you wan. Happy Reno

thanks. today the aircon trunking are up, somehow with the trunking on the toilet walls, just spoil the nice tiles, maybe get my contractor to paint over to make the trunking less visible. wow...your toilet seems so big. mine even hacked, also don't have such a big toilet.

haha...now i just pray hard all goes smoothly on monday.....no point getting upset over those kind of people.

oh..i always thought eric is one of the boss. my installation is next week. yours went through smoothly?

I would like to get a ceiling fan for my living room. However, what size should I be looking? My ID say about 46-48" would be good. I was looking at a 56" one and she say, too big le. Btw, anyone using KDK ceiling fan? can share the model and the price paid? Looking for a white simple ceiling fan, no lights.

my toilets are back to back. so hack away a portion of the joining walls as walkway. shower and pee/poo will be at common toilet, the mbr side will oni be the vanity top, so somehow like a wet and dry toilet.

Went up to peek... Today they are tiling my floor, hence can't go in and see look le. Took a picture of my tiles....

yeah, I did see some ranging more than 1k. But when I ask, they say, depending on the crystal. Some shops uses glass crystal (meaning just glass), some are swarovski crystals (super ex) and some using egyptian crystals, and cant remember what else.

OT abit. hob and sink must leave a distance, about 60cm if I don't remember wrongly. If too close, it affects the health of the lady staying in the house. cos the hob represents the health of the Lady of the house.

I agreed. I was very unhappy when Mark said that my tiler was bull shi++ing when i told mark, that my tiler cant proceed with the floor if the windows not up. Cos we all knows that once the floor tiling starts, even the owners are asked not to go over and step around. He even dare to say, my tiler could just leave a path untiled for his worker to walk and to do installation. I think such request, or to have said such thing is ridiculous. but today, I received a call from Eric, he said that on Monday morning, my windows will be all up. With all the good words about Eric, I believe I can trust him. =)

hope my post will not get all panick. I just voice out what happen. Mayb I'm just the suay one. You've given him ample time, I'm sure he will do a nice job for you. I'm not here to pin-point that he's no good. I mean there's satisfied customers of his, im sure. Just that I happen to be the suay one. I even remembered one of my post mentioning he's usch a nice guy. well..mayb I should leave all comments when work is done up. I was very upset by this whole issue, and it ruins my mood at work the whole morning. Even my colleagues was shocked cos they never see me flare up like that before.

Do't worry if yours is Eric. So far all THUMBS UP for Eric. =) I understand they need time to do up the frame. But at least give us a call to inform. And not end of the day, push blame around.. This is what makes me real upset.

The explanation i got for window not installed on Friday is this: Order confirmed on Wed, so Don't have time to get it done by Fri, therefore window not up - then don't tell us Friday will be up right? Installer supposed to call and inform but they forgot about it - shouldn't he be the one informing me? I was out of town, so can't inform you - Is that my problem? Then when i say, the issue is, why didn't anyone inform us, now causing the delay of my tiling, so here's the reply i get Once again he repeated the first one: Order confirmed on Wed, so Don't have time to get it done by Fri, therefore window not up Your tiler can always tile other area and leave a gap for my workers to walk, so when your tiler say they can't tile, they are bull-****ting - now that it is not my tiler fault, why should my tiler make their work difficult just to accomodate. And I don't think he has the right to say that my tiler is bull-****ting I was very angry and very upset at this whole thing. So I said, if i've arranged with you co. to come up and install, then when they are there, they call me, and i say, Oops I'm out of town, so that's also oki? can anyone guess what's the answer given by him??
