If I did not remember wrongly, my quote for the cabinet alone is already around 8k and after the solid top and the backsplash glass, it is already close to 10k. Told my hubby thats too much for a kitchen especially when i don't do heavy cooking. so got to go for a cheaper one lor...haha.....let's see how long can the kitchen from my ID last me. cos my last time Classic kitchen real good, 5 years still as good as new...lolz

hi you intend to use matt black tiles, then i wont recommend. cos it wont be nice and wont look sleek. but if you like,you can use that for toilets or kitchen. But the contrast furnishing must be white or something light.

if I'm not wrong, your color was the promotional price right? cos when i wanted white, and it wasn't on promotion, I was quoted about 8k+ for my cabinets le. Thats why we gave it a miss.

how come your id did such a small area for umbrella? your altar n shoe cabinet near each other? cos one FSM told me that shoes cannot be place higher than where the god statue sits. he say no good. But hor, we got so many shoes, half a cabinet wont be sufficient.

the rod in the shoe cabinet, is it for umbrellas? it seems to look short (height). can put umbrella ah? I like the purple zig zag, though the previous straight design is nicer. as for the other is black right? this one not mirror ah. that one not as great as your purple mirrored one. but overall as long you are happi with it can le.

Hi My living room, and 3 bedrooms are using black homogenoeus tiles. And according to my contractor, mine is a super gloss tiles. Yes. they are reflective and I love it to bits. cos every furniture seems to be mirror image. Maybe white floor tiles will give a spacious look, but black glossy tiles with light-coloured walls doesn't darken the whole house. Unless you wear skirt, stand with your legs wide over the tiles, then what you have down inside will be seen. Also, if you're wearing super short skirts, then what you wear down might be seen too. If not, working skirts at around knee length, it is safe. imo, if you like it, go ahead. how often do you have friends coming to your place. I will tell friends my tiles are reflective, so wear skirts at your own risk.

that's what i have in mind. we spray 4 different sets, then every festive season we just change. like that sure one day 'chor lor' 'chor lor' and break the plastic inside.....

at one glance, the pink looks good. gold, so so lah, mayb cny time can use. haha...can we keep on spraying different colours to change with the season? e.g CNY - gold, red, XMAS - green- red Valentines - pink? my furnishing are mostly white, only the built in are of purple, white. will make a trip to homefix and see what colours i can get, And i did look below for that hole...really small leh....so worried wait i break it and my man will

I think homogeneous tiles more ex bah... Usually nicer, glossier homogeneous tiles can range from $3-5.50 psf. Of cos there are more ex ex ones. Also depending on the size of the tiles, whether 600x600 or 800x800 =)

curtain haven't install make yet right? worse come to worse just d one curtain, don't want day and night lor. people entering your house will WOW the sound system. Not many will pay attention to curtains. or see what other solutions your id can come up with. hope this move on smoothly.... =)

I agree with BD. Instead of tiles and S/S backing, why not all with S/S backing, if glass is out. At least it still looks nice nice.

The flat probably just come with toilet bowls, sink, a vanity top(depending if hdb did state it is given). Rest of stuff need to buy them yourself. Painting yes, cos the one HDB done for you, just a base coat? Kitchen cabinets doesn't come with it, so stove and sink - definitely not included.

how much is your mattress. Went to do a recce, mattress 14" and above, all bedsheets ex ex leh... really must buy when there's sale..

Just wondering, will the price of a red glass backing be comparable to your red bling bling tiles? cos a glass backing will look nicer, imo. Anyway. my choice goes to Option2. reason is that i feel option 2 color is something that will not goes out of fashion, more 耐看 in the long run.

i agree, each time money goes out of pocket, will heart pain pain. but when the stuff delivered to your place, and installed, you will love it, and say the money is well-spent. And when finally moved in, you will love every bit of the house, cos every single detailed was well taken care of, and money well-spent =)
