Where In Singapore Got Sell Sanus Wall Mount Bracket?
Batman replied to eurostar's topic in Electronics & Electricals
ikea also have their own bracket think its abt 49. dunno consider cheap or not -
got my hood, hob and oven from Aerogaz. they have got a promo package for 688 (hood + hob). we got our oven for <500 my dish drainer is from Hoe Kee, which I find them to be cheaper as compared to Sim Siang Chun. my basin and tap is from Sim Siang Chun as they have wider variety and suit my bedget better. u can try to contact my ID to check with them. its as per my signature. good luck in ur reno!
-
welcome n wish u a smooth reno journey!

only 1 word: OVERPRICE!!! with that amt, might as well buy a smaller condo at the sub-urban area. SG very big meh? do u REALLY need to be sooooooooooooo centralise? who's e big winner end of the day? number of applicants X $10 = ??? wooooo hoooooo (100% margin! this kind of business where cannot do right?) anyway good luck to all those who apply. hope u get ur chance to select
-
bro, now barang barang got 50% off. so its now or never liao!!
-
if u dun drive, it'll be quite a challenge. cos getting out from there is only possible if u call cab. alternatively, find a friend who drive to go lor their range r quite good, but a bit on e premium side. there's another one at the back (call HTL iirc) n prices are more budget

bro kopi, thanks wor. it was highly recommended by my ID too. my wife liked e idea and "taaaa daaaaaaaaa" hehe bro simon, not dun wanna post cos this past week were just tiling works n applying the finishing touches etc. hence nothing much wor. i still sourcing for electrician as the quote from my ID's electrician is way abv my budget u got lobang? bro ve_ve, thanks for ur compliments. actually e 'salad bowl' basin is dark blue in color. hence i dun think it'll stand out too much against the black galaxy vanity top that we r going to put

woooo hoooo nice pictures!!!
-
thanks red-dy urs also v big leh! much bigger than mine!
-
thanks ve_ve... that i agree. that's y we literally pay for it but then again, e space is lesser wor. kong from northoaks too?

nothing much to update as the last few days is only tiling works to MBR n common toilet. common toilet has been fully tiled, whereas MBR is abt 3/4 done. expect all tiling works, including kitchen and yard floor, to be completed by end of next week. some pics to share: MBR day1: MBR day4: common day1: common day4:

thanks kitty i thought that might as well share my design with those who r thinking of doing modern altar. cos when during the pre-reno weeks, i was looking all over for nice altar design. then when my ID designed my initial TV feature wall, i incorporated part of that for my altar. hehe cannot copy my design har!!!
-
bro eurostar, its kindda difficult to say. how long is ur feature wall? cos it looks like its gonna run into excess of 12-15ft wor. though e design is generally simple, but e material used may be quite a lot. from some earlier posts in this thread u can use their per ft run price as a guide lor.

yup i agree w born_again. granite will be more stain-free and easier to maintain

How Much Can We Save If We Hire A Contractor Instead Of An Id ?
Batman replied to purecat's topic in RENOVATION WORKS
from other posts that i'd read/ seen + my own sourcing for quotations, i'd reckon that e price difference to be around 10-15%. so u gotta decide that would u wanna do ur own co-ordination or would u rather pay a little bit more n have less worries. my advice would be that if u can more/ less fix ur requirements, then send ur enquiry to at least 5-8 IDs n wait for them to come back to u with a quote lor. from there u'll have a better idea. good luck -
i know Hoe Kee and Sim Siang Choon have quite a vast variety.... have u checked them out yet? btw u seem to be very exact in ur requirements, but just a quick question sista. will u be able to accept 10 or 20mm less? my point being that if it can more/less fit ur requirements, i guess u can bend ur measurements a little and accomodate
-
HUAT HUAT ah... round is good mar....
-
not pro lar bro. just interest nia m still a newbie leh.... well that's good to knw lor. as long as u manage to sort it out w ur ID, tat's e most impt. cos u r in a lose-lose situation if u 'pi bin' w him
-
granite will be more ex. by my reckoning, it'll be abt few 10s of dollars more. if e ID u spoke to tell u its abt 2x, then u knw they'll be off ur shortlist for me, i'm also opting for black galaxy granite top for my kitchen top and its approx S$110 per ft run. and yes u r right abt e heat resistant part. being a 'plastic' by nature, there's only so much heat e solid surface can withstand. just imagine placing a hot iron on the ironing board. if its for a short while, its ok. but if u forget, then u'll get a burnt mark. hope this helps.
-
haha that's a good one bro.... i also hope to be in ur shoes
-
bro, nice design n layout for ur new place! let me knw if u need help to take some nice pics to be posted up online or keep as remembrance for both of u sorry to hear abt e unhappy part on how ur ID got into 'auto-pilot' mode etc. n u r right, dun leave e anything to chance/ trust. like wat they say, ASSUME = makking an *** out of U and ME. glad it'd been sorted out. remember to upload some pics yeah

haha that's y we men have to work so hard till lor yeah had been one for almost 20yrs liao
