Kitchen Cabinet Pull Out Tray/ Organisers - Where To Get In Sg?
Batman replied to ahwong's topic in RENOVATION WORKS
another brand u can consider is Hafele. they have a show-room at sungei kadut. -
my mistake. mine should be B207WVQ and nope there isn't any freebies. honestly, i prefer NOT to have. cos there's no free lunch in this world lor hehe hi joseeng, no review/ feedback cos i have move in yet. hehe my delivery is scheduled for end Jan. by then i will post some review in my t-blog ok? but honestly, at 849, its really a steal liao. cant ask for more. cos my family needed a decent size (500+ L) fridge. our existing 300+ one is over flowing liao

personally, i feel that u shld insist on the height that u want it to be installed. who's da boss? just to share, in my case, i told my ID tat i want ALL my entire kitchen top to be 2in higher than the 'normal' height and he gladly obliged. morale behind e sotry? 1) u r e 1 paying for e job. 2) u got them bcos u need a customised job to be done. so insist on wat u want

if u have a car, u can go JB for KDK fans. same price as SG, BUT in RM!!!

speaking of FS, for mirror at dining area, 1 theory is that it 'doubles' ur food which signifies food a-plenty.... but another theory that i'd heard of is that its not good for couple, esp BIG mirrors. like my wife's sister, she n her hubby is quarreling almost week in week out... sigh... so morale behind e story is that if u hang 1 at ur dining, and everything is going on well for u, then by all means let it be. but if its otherwise, then u may wanna reconsider bro

sorry to hear abt ur encounter bro. but losing $30 is better than $30K. hehe anyway its a new year so everything can only go good n smooth, tio bo? during my ID search days, i'd been to almost 1/2 of what you'd posted! haha but somehow they were being eliminated by me 1-way or another. for me, my advice will be to go w an ID that u will be VERY comfortable with. cos its like ur ID is the project manager and u r da Boss. of cos, not forgetting to take price into consideration also. good luck!!

nice job brother M!!! wish you a Happy New Year in 2010!!
-
HAPPY NEW YEAR to one and all!!! yeah wet works started last week w varnishing of 3 bedrooms parquet flooring. went over during e weekend to look see and was overwhelmed by the smell! hahaha but the feet feel is shiok today will be polishing of marble. can't wait to see the end result tomorrow! tomorrow onwards will be the final leg of our reno as the carpentry will be going in in stages over the next 2 weeks... including the appliances, curtains n other misc stuffs that needs to be installed and fixed. hopefully everything will be smooth. will share more pics as and when

bro sky, i'm sure Adrian will be able to deliver. i'm another satisfied customer just like mengliang. reno, like any other project, will have its ups n downs. just like we also often quarrel w our partners from tiem to time don't we? hehe bro elephant, do get a few more quotes from other IDs to compare. that will be e best. like many others, it really all boils down to how comfortable u work w ur ID

1) did not mention price range of tiles to choose from. eg S$2.50 psf? or S$3.50 psf? in my case, mine is up to S$3.50 psf. i have a piece of MBR toilet wall which i chose a tile of S$11.50 psf, but my ID 'absorb' it. cos for other tiles, i chose cheaper ones. so its a give and take thing. 2) as long as it did not mention in the quote, then it is not included. for eg, hacking will be hacking. no supply of tiles to lay or whatsoever. if never mention wall, then its also not included.

bro, how much u bought ur lock and from where?

Install Lan Points Or Powerline Ethernet Adapter
Batman replied to ninja3101's topic in Electronics & Electricals
any1 got idea how much does these adaptors cost? -
personally, i'd say most brands out there are quite reliable lor. so for my case, i choose base on design, functionality and power efficiency. of course there are the very high end fridge out there that cost up to 8K, 10K n that will be a diff story all together.

err i actually believe that tiling takes quite a fair bit of time, judging from my reno work progress. mine is just overlaying of kitchen n yard floor tiles + 2 toilets floor n wall tiles also took abt 2weeks to complete wor. so i'd say its quite possible that urs is a 3weeks job. n in any case, we owners r at losing end, cos if we go n rush/ hurry them, they'll do a sub-standard job but anyway its a joyous season, so just be merry n drink more!

so how was ur xmas bro? witness e win by our devils?? haha
-
oops... sorry to hear that bro. *hug hug* which is y i need to make a trip to my place tmrw as my electrician is fixing up most of e lights.... just wanna make sure he dun install sa-lar then i'll go crazy! haha
-
in my case, they use a rounded "pvc" instead of the obiang curved tiles. since urs already laid, i reckon that it needs to be hacked off n redo. but in anycase, i feel that ur contractor should have double check w u in advance. cos e worst (which is something u do not like) has happened. maybe u can try to negotiate w ur contractor to reach an agreeable solution lor. good luck bro

actually depends on individual's preference. for my place, we only got 1 'stack' of drawers. e rest r all cabinet doors. hehe

Batman replied to fini's topic in Home Maintenance & Repairs
and a picture or 2 will help too.... coming back, for dirty lines, maybe u can try 3M's Sharp Shooter. just spray n then wipe it off using a cloth. -
welcome to RT. wish u a successful reno ahead. it sure aint easy to co-ordinate e whole entire thing by urself. like what my ID told me e other day, "u like maciam dun need to work"..... hahaha cos i literally buy all over SG.
-
bro, actually u will be e best person to judge. reason being that u can get a few more quotes. just fix ur requirements n go around asking a few more IDs/ contractors to quote u. good luck!
-
