Bro, Congrats on ur new home. Wish u a smooth reno journey ahead. I didn't see every line of ur quote, but as per what u'd mentioned that certain points are not specific, u CANNOT leave it to chance and everything have to be in black and white. For eg, 2.1, u need to ask what is the price range of the tiles that u can select. Or else, u see the tiles u like, then the company say "Sorry, this one is too ex and if u want, u need to top up" Rule of thumb, anything that u need to ponder and ask to clarify, u better have them down in black n white.

I spoke to 65daigou.com yesterday. The operator informed me that for bulky items, u can always cut n paste the TB link and email to them to enquire on the shipping costs. Thereafter u still can reject if u find the total price too expensive. Which I think is a good initiative..

Anyone Can Recommend Good Hot/cold Water Dispenser Unit?
Batman replied to and888's topic in Home Furnishings
Bro u can consider this: http://solutions.3m.com.sg/wps/portal/3M/en_SG/3MPurification/Home/Solutions/Residental/Products/#tab-2 I will be getting this for my new place come Dec/Jan Hope this helps. -
Fwah sounds a bit ex leh bro. But what is the width and height of ur wardorbe? N is urs HDB or condo? Cos for condo, prices will generally be more expensive for the same thing as compared to HDB. For the simple fact that the working hours are much shorter. For me, I always use I*ea as a gauge to compare. I am willing to pay more, but not too much. Simple. In ur case, I do not think if I go the I*ea way, it will cost me $9,500 lor. Hope this helps n good luck bro!

As above. Came across this website. Looks promising. Any1 have any experience to share?

Honestly, at that price, we cannot expect too much. Perhaps MrsLoo should look at Duravit or equivalent?

I 2nd, 3rd or 4th with Panasonic. Honestly, marketing or not, I m sold on Panasonic's inverter technology. According to the sales person from AH @ Bendemeer, Panasonic fridge will "learn" and go into some "sleeping" mode when u least use the fridge, i.e 12mn to 6am, for eg. Thereby further saving on electricity bills. If I m not wrong, only Pana fridge come with bottom freezer, which is another + point as the motor uses less energy to pump the "freez" up as compared to normal top freezer. Again I m sold as it sounds logical to me. hahaha Saw the point on safety, which I think makes sense too. Because sometimes, my mother do ask me to help her put stuffs up into the freezer as they are either a bit too heavy for her, or she cannot reach the freezer compartment etc. So I am 99% going for a Panasonic fridge. Hope this helps and good luck in ur purchase bro!

I used to have chimney hood in my old place. But I seldom on even when we cook everyday. Why? Cos it is too troublesome to clean every week, let alone everyday. Bcos the 'sucked air' will have to go somewhere and the only way is up. Will make the whole kitchen top-part area oily over time. Hence if u dun need the storage, then its more sensible to have it shown.

Congrats on ur new home! Nice 3D pics too! Very swee! U may wanna consider removing the bottom glass panels at ur TV feature wall. Cos: 1) Kind of distracting when u r watching tv. 2) Ur female vistors cannot wear skirts, if not the mirror mirror on the wall will..... Just my thoughts to share hehe

Yeah agree. Its not as if we say what then u do what right? Best is talk to a banker and then u decide from there. Life is about decisions. If I were u, I'd go for the lowest possible interest rates. Lock in or no lock in doesn't matter because if I were to sell eventually, I'd factor in e penalty to my selling price.
-
Best is to talk to a banker for a 2nd opinion as current interest is very low. Y pay the premium and get tied down for 5 years? :bangwall:

Hi Daniel33, And the purpose of using LED is to??? if it is to save $$ on electricity bills, then u will be looking at longgggggg ROI period. For every 10W saved (in total), and price difference of S$10 per light (PLC vs LED), u r looking at 2.5years. That is provided u leave the lights for 4hrs non-stop everyday. If u go on a 1 week holiday, then ur ROI is lagi longer. Hope this helps.

Yeah I m quite sure u cant buy it off the shelf. Closest I can think of is to "build" it up like Ikea's LACK series.
