ikea if u dun mind lor

yeah its mainly due to moisture. while discussing my reno with another firm, e ID asked whether do we wanna have e mirror to be flushed in with e wall tiles. n he highlighted that e down side will be possibility that black spots will appear.

oic...then e 3M 'film' is not for u liao. sorry cos this 3M 'film' (called DI-NOC) is just like the usual to laminate/ wall-paper (that most of us are familiar to). e only diff is that it is water-proof and can even be used in bathrooms! of cos, the best product is only as good as e applicator. and hence no ID firms out there does it to ur question, it is really BIG, it comes in rolls which r 10s of metres. hehe it can even be used to wrap around furniture to give it a total different look. just imagine a very normal n budget looking coffee table like LACK fr Ikea can b transformed by giving it a new look http://www.dinocfilm.com/ http://www.3m.com/intl/PH/downloads/Dinoc.pdf

no remedy bro. only way is to replace it. as it is corrosion of the mercury beneath the mirror.

hmm dun get what u mean. as in u wanna stick up e whole wall or just stickers to decorate ur sink wall? if just stickers, 1 cheap n effective way is to get white candle n wax the edges of e sticker then water will not seep under liao lor hehe if u r talking abt whole wall, then it'll be more costly. exact i still not sure cos i m thinking of using 3M's 'film' on part of my kitchen's wall. its similar to laminate except that it'll not have joining line n its waterproof

saw 1 at Cellini Loyang. not sure abt e price though.

looks like its the Sycamore Fan. cost is in the 1000s. here's e link: http://www.sycamorefan.com/fan/feature/features.html

hi lynn, most id firms out there will not give u 3D unless there's a nominal fee being paid upfront. cos to draw 3D is a very tedious process and it usually takes 2 weeks. coming back, with e nominal fee being committed, when u eventually sign, they will offset e fee that u'd paid upfront. i'm also arranging to meet our dear mr adrian to do some 杀价 too! haha maybe we can 杀价 together leh!

Looking For A Good Full Hd 32inch Lcd Tv
Batman replied to timtim's topic in Electronics & Electricals
personally, full HD is a bit overkill. reason being that only ch5 is available in HD at e moment. even if u take e HD set-top from starhub, u also have limited channels. unless u r always watching DVDs or Blu-rays, then its a diff story. so if u dun mind, a HD-ready will be good enuf n e pricing is also more attractive. coming back to your ques, for me, i find Panasonic value for $$. or if u not in hurry, can wait for philips warehouse sale. i got my 47" hd-ready @ just above $1000 -
yup we went for the slide-aofa. quite comfy. both of us liked it. and e best part is that it suits our hall. cos we have windows till knee ht and we dun wanna block e windows. so gotta go for ultra-low sofa lor. then so happen they still have this package n we confirm it 2 weeks ago. paid additional 200 to "upsize" our bed frame n mattress to king size yeah indeed u r fickle minded! hahaha

err dun b offended har initially i also thought of this type of semi-circle rotating thingy. then 1 of e id mentioned that its actually a bit redundant. cos if u dun mind e trouble, u can have more space w/o that tray. but down-side will be that u just have to stretch ur hands a bit more to reach in lor. in tat way, it is really maximum storage

go for laminate if u can. cos wall paper's corners will tend to peel off after few years. for me, in some area of my new home-to-be, i'll be going for something different. NOT laminate, NOT wall-paper but something called "film". 3M DI-NOC film to be exact. Please refer to link if you are wondering what is this about: http://dinocfilm.com/faq.html for me, 2 main reasons for choosing this 3M DI-NOC film are: 1) it is neither paper nor laminate, but PVC. this means it is not 'afraid' of water. i m intending to apply this on some area in my kitchen and common bathroom. 2) it can be re-applied over should I get tired of the design after few years. PS: it's not cheap and i m still negotiating with the supplier.

Anybody Engage Id Note
Batman replied to Djorkaeff's topic in Renovation Contractors, Interior Designers & Suppliers Reviews
i'd also contacted him on Monday n till now still waiting for his quote. maybe he's really tied up. business too good liao haha -
i have a PAX wardrobe which is still going strong after 8-10 years. Other than signs of 'age' its still serving its purpose. i agree with hihihi whereby their high end ones r too ex and low end ones are so-so only. for me, i'd not pay top dollars for ikea. hence my mentality is that, if i buy ikea stuffs, i'm prepared to change it after a few years. just my 2cents.
