Veron is the Bosch product person at KLP side. She served us too, not very pushy & but very smooth - I went in looking for a Brandt oven & she sway me to Bosch, but the WM she quoted us $20 more... -
Nice! can't wait to see your wardrobe pictures!
-
no..not "even me"...its more like ESPECIALLY ME!
-
haha! jaskel now you make everyone is super curious for sure!
-
yup...i already did a "mock-up" measurement in my kitchen, it hits my forehead
-
yes definitely, more for the missus..she can develop severe allergic reaction - once kena dust until her eye swollen, bring her clinic ppl stare at me..wife abuse
-
ya d.a.m.n sexy right! i think we'll be going with white...i old school sometimes - white goods are supposed to be white i guess edit: hmm need to put "dots" else word is *****
-
not on the website, but the showroom marketing guy did print it out for me: KAN62Vxx specs: KAN62V00 (white) KAN62V40 (s/s)
-
yea looks like it doesn't it, but i like his professional attitude of limiting his projects so he can be more focused. its very reassuring hehe..you know, the bosch was my call. i dragged her down to bosch showroom coz the fridge is not available for sale yet (slated for Aug but not cfm). It took me a few days to convince her to agree to the side by side .

Actually what you have listed here is already what we are shortlisted, i think lachesis was a but tired (she got flu) so she didn't explain much: Fans - Crestar AirVac series, GM - gunmetal color (haven't decided on the blade length yet). KDK is a more logical brand but the fans remind me of Alexandra Hospital when I was warded there during my NS days when I fell off the APC at Area D so I don't want to be reminded of that again Sinks - Dbl bowl, undermount Rubine (probably getting from Excel need to decide the model) Kitchen Accessories - Song Cho 26mm Dish rack, rod, knife/chopping board rack, utensil rack & 500m metal drawers for tall larder unit. Laundy - already went down to Jln Pemimpin so wife can test the hydraulics for the EZ Hi-Dry, so now she wants to test out the other brand Genesis. TAME is out - I wasnt impressed. Outdoor funiture - We like the one patsy_sg has for her outdoor, but its exceeds the budget dedicated for outdoor items - so we will get from either Ikea or Natural Living at Sungei Kadut WC - not decided yet, will wait for your advise during the reno when we finalise the measurements. oh btw, i will need to check with you again during the kitchen carpentry the optimal height for mounting the hood so i don't bang my head

hehe quite innovative - 1st time i see the floor protected with reused cardboard! i wonder how many rolls of tapes it took ?!
-
I can relate to that, I dread packing our stuff too but need to start doing it soon and put it in storage while we crash at our parents for the next few months. Its also a good time to do a massive spring cleaning too - I told the missus "if you have not used it in the last 6 mths, you don't need it" (easier said than done tho )

Do an extreme makeover & you can join, you can call it "The Dos & Don't of home renovation - Positive & Negative Demonstrations brought to you exclusively by Fencer"!!

Yup... Ok thanks, chances are very slim you need to service those pipes anyways. Hmm top floor unit got those pipes or not...I can't recall
-
@ jaskel: Interesting, how the wall is extended to cover the pipes...nice Is it gypsum partition? If for some reason, the pipe need to be serviced can it be still accessed easily or do you need to cut the partition?

Is it worth going for extended warranty? Esp for WM & fridges, coz 1 is a heavy duty appliance & the other is practically running 24/7. My reasoning is if you pay around $500 - $600 for the items maybe it might not make $$ sense. But I notice the 4 ticks (electricity) / 3 ticks (water) are actually around the 1k+ price range, regardless of make ie Jap, Korean, European. At these ranges makes you think if it worth getting the extra protection for peace of mind for the next 5 yrs...dunno... -

Yes i was equally skeptical, but the ATS appears to be a patented system. Not easy to BS on patents rights... But then again they did not put down the patent number! -
hey velv, have you resolved the window with the "2 holes"? It looks sharp & dangerous...
-
congratulations! i see a fan club forming
-
I was curious & decided to have a look at the Inovar website & the first paragraph hit me "As a trendsetter and pioneer in laminate flooring, we constantly challenge ourselves...." wow how about consumers? do we challenge these kind of statements?? Afaik the pioneer of laminate is PERGO...chio ka peng...

Thanks, I will also get pricing from GAB & Everjoint to get a baseline. The extended warranty is appealing too, that's the silver lining that separates the bigger stores from neighborhood ones -

ya that's what the salesgirl said too, that they will match it, but at that time wasn't too sure if it was real or gimmick. but thanks for the info.
