Another well articulated RT-er. Welcome Whereabouts in TPY btw ?
-
yea its really nice isn't it...you should check out his (Mickey M's) t-blog

actually this does make sense to me. i would test heavy objects on the laminate as chances of dropping dull but heavy items in living / bedroom is definitely higher than a meat cleaver which has no reason to be in the living room. It is a good gauge but way extreme. Having said that dropping a meat cleaver on tiles to see they chip is fair too.

Welcome to RT! & i can totally relate to your frustration on the extension, my seller pulled the same stunt on us when we went down for our 1st appt & we already agreed to a 3 week extension when we signed our OTP. Lets hope they honor their "gentlemen" deal when its time to handover -
OMG! why would you be running around your living room with a meat cleaver??
-
small issue right bro? now is not the time for what is right or wrong but what can be done a.s.a.p so you can go on with your life without anymore stumbling blocks
-
i know what you mean, that's the reason we are going for the smaller comp - which deters us to turn on living room & bedroom at the same time. but at least it won't be as heavy on the wallet or the electricity bill

about 7 years, the Teflon coating is still good if you take care of them properly. on the other hand lachesis tried to cook chili crabs on our other Teflon coated wok. no prizes for guessing what that did to the wok

any inputs on TEFAL pans? We currently own the Ingenio 3 series, but its getting worn out & the Ingenio 4 is not available here - real sad. Any suggestions on a good replacement series?
-
matashi, your layout is also very nice for partitioning...i'm surprised you did not carve out more bedrooms like what you did mine
-
yea feels about right doesn't it, coz i'm looking at either 24k or 26k for me own living/dining.

I'll just say a few more words and this will be my last post for this matter: 1. I standby what I say about my orignal intentions. If it has hurt your sensitive ego, I will go as far as saying that's just too bad, but I am not going to apologise for your lack of forum eqituette. 2. Your analogy of being a public nuisance is an interesting one. Because at this point it would appear that you are shouting back: "How dare you shout at me that my fly is open, because now I'm so pissed off that I'll just stand here & pee in front of everybody!!" 3. I have CRESTAR fan prices if you are interested. You can go to their main office @ 164 Kallang Way, #06-29, tel: 6814-1284. I myself am interested in the AirPlus series. They are between $224 - 240, based on blade size. PS: You have a good day.

nope he didn't, but i was kinda curious about the cooling power required

kitchens are really tricky - you want them aestheically pleasing but at the same time you do not want another run of the mill design either. Daunting task it is - squeeze your ID's creative juice for all its worth
-
hehe u know its not you

no lah, jaskel is a rare commodity must preserve in good condition ...
-
hey DV, your living room is massive!! have you figured out how much BTU you'd need to cool it?
-
wahh!!! definitely must bring out knives now!!
-
you already showed me the bill, so if it changes much, i wont show you the knives, i''ll take out the parang
-
if you're refering to KAI USA, then they are the makers of SHUN knives, which is what you might be referring to. i'd love to hear from fellow forumers who are using these as well
-
you're my hero now...i'd kiss you if you were standing infront of me its simple forum etiquette, but you'd be surprised how people can be
