When we were sourcing for our stuff that time, every Sat we sure get a copy to flip through and pinpoint all the sales and places. Are you sure glass hob suit better? You're a kopi-thiam leh, should use stainless steel! Unless yours is the Glass Cafe then should use the glass hob! As for Asia Excel Balestier, we also met up with that Desmond before and found him rather helpful and patient even though we didn't buy from him. Do check out that outlet yah?

Yes you can. I considered doing it and was quoted $750 to change to parquet skirting for whole flat except master bedroom (which comes with the skirting for the parquet flooring) by my contractor. Didn't do it as decided can still live with it so shift the budget to other areas.

Do budget for the various furnishings and furnitures, fixtures etc. My renovations cost me $16K but furnishing and such costs me another $14K.

Yah the HDB tiles are not that good but it is still acceptable, so let us make the best of it! Haha, we're not hacking but going around to admire our FC neighbours' reno and also offer encouragement and support. It's a process that we all have to go through as we settle down in Fernvale so it's good to share. Don't use brute force! Will only injure your hands. Those sticky markings can be easily removed using thinner liquid (a bottle from hardware shop costs about $2.80) or those lighter refuel fluid.
