Hi seashell, i tried to pm u always but ur mailbox also full. lol... as for the carpentry, i tink we r going to deal directly with the carpenter ba. will onli ask him to get ppl to help us fix up the sinks and do some remaining works. dun tink i dare to pay him anything in advance too. once bitten, twice shy. i will pay the sub-cons directly ba.. haix.. i need to go back to sin tml n see if i need any other stuffs ba.. hope to move in to my house asap le. cos my parents' place alr sold n they will move to a smaller house by mid of dec also. so no more space for me n my hb at all le. apparently, i bot the house 3 months earlier than them, n yet i haven move in to my new house. haix.. i gotta act fast to do the necessary then move in first before finishing the remaining works le ba.. haix.. everyone, pls hang on there ya..=)

its okie for the late reply ya.. i logged in very often to see if ah soon did do anything for the other forumers nots. cos im afraid tat he's onli avoiding my hb's calls. apparently, he's avoiding everyone's calls. haix.. we better find other sub-cons n get everything done asap. dun tink we can hope for more from ah soon anymore. jus move on i guess..=)

my hb is so angry with ah soon. he promised to HO on 23nov which i actually noe its impossible. cos my cabinets n tv console r all not done yet. but then, he said he needs the money alr. so i gave him another 30% of the sum, when its supposed to be 20% onli. he said he doesn haf enough money so wans me to give him more. when two days ago, he wans me to pass him the money, he can wait under my block for half an hour. now, once he got the money, my house everything stopped. he supposed to send someone to do the last bit of tilings and build my L-box and cornis. but, two days n no one is at my house doing anything le. So, the golden words are," never pay money more than wat he has done." he will take the money n stop doing ur house reno......=( now, i gave up chasing him. i let my hb do all the chasing cos i will be so stressed tat i dream of my house reno every nite. i jus stay at home n start packing my stuffs for the new house. my hb hack care alr n started moving stuffs down slowly. haix.. today, when my hb step into the house, there is no one at all. can someone who is able to find ah soon, pls ask him to call indus rd's house hb... thanks so much.. IF I AM GIVEN ANOTHER CHANCE, I WOULD RATHER PAY THE MONEY AND GET SOMEONE ELSE. SO IF ANYONE WANS TO ENGAGE AH SOON JUST BECAUSE HE IS CHEAP. i dunno if they did ask the lower level neighbour to sign anything lei. but i doubt my neighbour noes i did my flooring ba. cos we didn hack all the way to their ceilings rite? LOL.. n my contractor didn pass me anything abt waterproofing.. hehe..

i tink they did do the waterproofing ba. if not it will not be approved by hdb de ba.. hahha.. but usually i will not splash whole bucket of water all over my kitchen. cos im too lazy to clean. LOL..

Hi Trevor thanks for the info.. i went to my house today to check on my walls n i tink they did plaster it for me la..=DD my house is like 27 years le so my walls can still see the brick shapes when i bot it. so i dun tink i can stand tat if i stay in there.. as for the waterproofing, my hb said they put a thick layer of cement under my floor tiles. so i guess they did do smt ba but im not sure if tat is waterproofing... LOL.. hope ur house will be done soon too ya.. hope to see my pics..=D

Hi rasp, hope ur reno is finishing soon.. tml my aircons will be up so i will personally go down to check on the pipings.. im worried its the short n used pipes from other works.. urgh.. if tat happens, im going to COMPLAIN. LOl.. typical singaporean.=D my current house aircons r always leaking water. so i feel might as well get the whole package with extended warranty n servicing so if anything happens, its not my prob le.. its they didn service it well.. hahaha.. btw, i tot the doors tat uncle ah soon going to fix for us comes with door lock??? y do we need to go n buy extra ones???

Hi Trevor, I was reading thru ur blog and i was thinking if uncle ah soon did smoothed and plastered my walls anots? cos when the first time im there, my living rooms n bedrooms walls were alr white in colour. I didn see it being smoothed, which from ur pics should be grey walls. N, when i reached there, he said its alr plastered....???? can tat be done in like 2 days? Im not sure if he even do the waterproofing for my kitchens anots cos he is now doing the tilings for the kicthen alr... die la... im going to faint.. I need to ask my hb to go down n check with them man.. all my wall tiles for kitchen r alr up.. if they didn do the waterproofing they will haf to remove the lower wall tiles rite??? how can i see if my living room n bedrooms walls r plastered???? can u help me????? matchgirl

Hi Rasp, I bot my house aircons at the gain city in ang mo kio.. wanted to go marina to check it out but since i wanted to get all my furniture( S&C) n electricals( philips sale) tat day, i went to amk.. nearer.. im such a easily deceived person. when im at the gc, the salesman kept pushing for hitachi n said tat gc is the onli company in sin tat distributes hitachi. n he said until its so supppppeb good until i also believe le. so i bot my inverter sys3( one 12000btu, 2x9000btu) at $2709. then i upgrade the pipes( $120), then sign for extended warranty($359) n lastly the servicing for 3 yrs( $630). total damage is $39**. I forgot how he calculated but its close to $k i rem.. hahha.. they will be fixing it on tue. hope it turns out well.. anyone heard any comments abt hitachi?
