hi all, i was quoted the following dismantling costs by my contractor, on top of the hacking of whole house floor and wall tiles which is $2100. - supply labour to dismantle kitchen cabinet and 3 set wardrobes $600 - supply labour to dismantle living room cabinet and glass $250 - supply labour to dismantle living room false ceiling and L box $300 -supply labour to dismantle 3 bedroom simple cornice $250 it costs total of $1400 for dismantle the above! is this the norm? i feel that it looks very expensive!

Hi all, I am doing kinda a walk-in-wardrobe in the MBR, such that the wardrobe will be like partitioning the MBR with the back of the wardrobe facing the bed. The back of the wardrobe will be used to put my TV console etc. Default wardrobe back does not come with any decoration, but just plain wood. I am thinking between using laminate (those with designs on it) versus using wallpaper to decorate the back of the wardrobe so that it looks like a feature wall. any comments/advices which is better? thanks!

it is about $1 psf for hacking of floor or wall tiles. you can calculate the area and find out the costs yourself. =)

I saw that Jason does not have a thread to himself yet, so just wanna add it. If you are redoing the whole house electricity, will it be very inconvenient to ask the electrician to not do the SCV points and separately ask Starhub to come and do? Will the Starhub people help to pull the points to the bedrooms? How are they doing the hiding of the cables?
