yes, room door location can change. i moved my door location after i combined 2 bedrooms into 1.

1) beams and pillars cannot be hacked. everything else can come down. most of my walls are hacked to create an open concept. 2) toilet bowl location cannot be moved. shower and vanity can be relocated. i combined 2 toilets into 1. 3) main door and room doors can be changed. if you are close to the stairs, you need a fire-proof main door. room doors can be changed to frosted glass to make the rooms look more spacious. i changed all the doors in my flat.

don't worry, your kitchen has its own charm and personality. you made a bold decision to go with the industrial design. not many ppl can accept the raw look. add warmth with your furnishing so the rooms don't look "cold and clinical".

i was quoted $1,880 for 3 pieces and paid $100 more to change the fabrics of my choice. ended up with 3 different fabrics, one for each piece.

thanks all. the trick is to make it look expensive but not pay full price the total damage is going to be around $65k because i've many feature walls. the kitchen section is around $8k excluding appliances. had to top up for the metallic mosaic. well it's my first owned home, so i'm splurging on the reno to make it my dream bachelor pad!

You may want to visit Custom Design Furniture at their new Eunos showroom. They have a wide selection of chairs and sofas. I bought my dining chairs and outdoor seating from them. Prices quite reasonable.

The Calypso club is growing. Did you choose the black leather/micro fabric? I bought the 3-piece set without the side table in grey (kidney), white (side) and grey/white (ottoman) fabric.
