  4. You made the right choice. It matches the color scheme of your living room. The all-black combo would have been too dark. don't forget to post your pics on Simon's Calypso Club page
  5. my id told me that plastic wheels are better than rubber as they won't marks. there is a nice selection of wheels at Ikea if you haven't checked it out.

  7. yes, it is stable. when you buy the wheels, make sure 2 of them have locking device to prevent the table from moving.
  8. hi discoburg being minimalist doesn't have to be uncluttered and bare. the concept is to address the light, space and functionality in your design. so don't be afraid to decorate. there are many themes to minimalism. i've opted for a tropical minimalism theme to complement the greenery around me. still work in progress for me to complete the look. like your idea of the wiw. good use of an irregular space.
  9. hi fini the tables are standard dining tables from ScanTeak. my carpenter sawed off part of the legs and screwed on the castor wheels. you can buy the wheels from any hardware store.
  10. hi bachie my ladder is from barang barang. my mirror is from royal glass pte ltd.
  11. i think you found it. i got it from ikea. yes, i saw the 'out of stock' sign the other day too. the green throw was from cellini on consignment.
  12. Thanks all for the wonderful comments. I'll post new photos after I add the finishing touches to the rooms. Meanwhile, you can see the "Before & After" transformation on my blog.

  15. i agree. nice design esp the hidden doors.
  16. comfort design furniture. go to their new eunos showroom. they've a better selection of chairs and sofas. you can have a choice of color for the cushion. the green is quite nice too.

  23. this isn't my main wardrobe. the left side is actually my "book shelf" and the the right is for my shirts only. there is no drawer below the hanging shirts. the left curtain should be drawn to cover the clothes: i've a wall-to-wall wardrobe in the next room for the rest of my clothes. unpacking the other room today.
