  1. Hey there. Will do once I have time More pics in e meantime. Dresser Dining lights with opened vent from study. My improvised caulking gun when the lazy plumbers refused to seal up the underside of my sink.
  2. Paragon is way too expensive. Might as well get stuff inSG. Go along the main roads of ekkamai and thonglor. U may find good furnishings shops along the way. That neighborhood is for expat ppl.
  3. Thanks. We are very grateful to all with the support that was given to us:). At NTUC now grocery shopping. Post more pics n details soon.
  4. yeah should be. the big move is this weekend. stay tuned!
  5. Oh I thought ur nick contains u and ur hubby's name. Didn't realize it's just urs! Good write up and shoot
  6. it's a baron. can't remember the model no. like u said its slightly rounded. pretty much like the lovechild of a straight and rounded.
  7. Download an app called IPB. It's quite useful and will allow the full thread to be downloaded. So in the morning I usually read and reply while in the MRT.
  8. More cleaning today. We bought a vacuum cleaner thank god. The kid plumbers today have no ingenuity. I asked them to seal up the underside of our sink but they couldn't do up the back. I had to crawl under the sink to get a few shots up with a smaller tube instead of the gun. It's not complete and I'll need a flexible nozzle to hit the hard to reach spots. Anyone knows where to get it?
  9. Hey pinkwhale It's a round tile not hexagon. I got those at LSH balestier branch. It's along the same row as hafary. Ask them for panadol pills Hexagon tiles and other super outdated but making a huge comeback tiles can be found at unlimited tiles at whampoa.
  10. Which basins u confirmed? i like the toto ones.
  11. nice one! when i see this, it reminds me of a deflated disco ball!! 8|
  12. this light is too awesome. we bought ours too. currently using the standard 40w lights, but looking at other models. which bulbs are u using?
  13. just to add on to the lights. the lights are pretty, but the consumption is very high. wattage as follows: &tradition: 40w each. i have 3, so that's 120. artemide lamp: 20w. got the philips dimmable energy saving bulb from mustafa. living room downlights are LED MR16 replacements ranging from 1 - 3w. artemide mesmeri wall: 300w. i have 2, so that's 600. the 2 lights were so feraking bright that they lit up the entire airwell 3 storeys up. i will definitely look for a more energy saving option once i find it.
  14. it's not a brick wall, but it'll have to do
  15. sr and i are big fans of wood lah. be it the real solid type, plywood, veneers, even the bluff laminate also like. woods make the room so much warmer and homely, don't u think? coming back to your htb's request to relax. an l-shaped sofa to me is a combined sofa set with a chaise lounger. instead of getting the combined one, why not separate the 2 pieces? that way u can have more pieces to play with. a classic chaise would be one by le corbusier..
  16. We've got the werk table as our dining table too. Just set up yest but no pix yet.
  17. he was nice about it when we popped over. he also offered us to take the display piece at a discounted price, which left us with some spare cash at the store. now thinking of what to get. edit: he provided us with the full story of what happened. the warehouse lost a few items of his inventory and the sofa was one of them. he was straight up about it, and i was personally appreciative of his honesty and offer to make it up to us. good guy to deal with!
  18. a socket wrench won't help. best if u can get a normal wrench with the 45mm size, hold the other end and get a nice angle to turn. man, this reminds me of my army days when i had to remove filter hoses from engines...

  20. It means that the thread is "sticky-ed" like a post it pad onto the top, so it will always be the top few threads you'll see. Like the "How to upload photos" thread.
