Hihi! A little update on our reno progress... So happy that it is about 80% completed (start date 11Aug) and we should be able to move in once the lunar 7th month is over! Woot!~ Highlights: - Living room flooring - DONE! - Bedrooms parquet - Pending for vanishing - Kitchen cabinets - DONE but pending installation for glass backing and stove. - Walk-in wardrobe - DONE but pending for shelfing. - TV console and feature wall - Almost done - Wallpapers - Just finish selection last night! So installation will be delayed. - Aircons - Fixed! - Dining table (custom-made to extendable) - Yet to see but heard from ID it is done. - Lightings - Pending to fix up. - Bathroom and Bedroom doors - Pending for installation. As we don't have the time to go up and see/check every week so we leave almost everything to our ID to handle. We are so glad that we have chosen a very good ID, Thomas from Thom Signature Design. He is very sincere, helpful, thoughtful and responsible, making sure every single detail is done properly and perfectly, show us where to find nice and affordable furnitures/lightings, and helped us to find solutions when there is any issues arise. (FYI, even the lady boss at the lighting shop secretly told me that she has never meet such a good ID who help to ask for discounts for client as some greedy ID she encountered will tend to ask client to buy the stuffs at higher price then try to squeeze some profit out of the purchase. And she even gave us further discounts in his honor! How cool is that!) Seriously, thumbs up for his great service! The next we will have to buy all the cleaning stuffs! Not to forget the mop, broom, vacuum cleaner, pails, detergent, wiping cloth... So far everything goes on smooth and orderly but our wallet is seriously damaged! But for sure it is worth it. We are so excited and so looking forward to our brand new cosy home!

Hi future neighbours... How's the getting keys and reno going? We have finally settled down with a very good ID last night! Yeah! And next week we are going to shop for the materials with the ID. Now waiting for the 3D drawing to be done and show to FS master for final approval. Hee! It has been tough to make decisions and making everybody happy but hope all turns out well.

When is your appointment? I went to see liao... Took photos and check for defects. Remember to bring a padlock along in case need to report defects then u wouldn't have to pass them the main/gate keys. Quite a number of crocs at void deck. They started to drool whenever they see new home owners... Haha!

Hi people. Saw this post and so newly joined. We received letter from HDB at around mid-May that our flat will complete in June. Then 2 weeks later another letter came to inform us to collect the keys. So... we are collecting our keys next week!! We have shortlisted 2 ID to quote for our house. Yet to meet up with them as getting a fengshui master to see the house first. Oh by the way... we are at Blk 489.
