  1. Dark circles are usually a symptom, rather than a problem in themselves. They are a symptom of eye strain, tension, lack of sleep or age. You can determine what is causing your dark circles. If too much tension or lack of sleep leads to development of dark circles, it is easy to get rid of them by simply sleeping more and taking care of the causes of tension. Sometimes, age can also cause dark circles. This is particularly true if you are suffering from stress as your age advances. This will lead to dark circles appearing faster and also looking more prominent.
  2. Some hard and true facts about scars. Scars occur when the thick layer of our skin (the dermis layer) is damaged. However, scars need not be permanent. Research has confirmed that the MOST EFFECTIVE way to reduce scar is actually applying CONCENTRATED Vitamin E to the skin to increase collagen and nourish the skin. Using other methods eg. Chemicals, surgery and others do not work. Those may seem faster BUT short term solutions with lots of side effects!!! Try and GET hold of some serum with very very high concentrated Vitamin E. Doesn't matter which brand as long as it contains natural Vitamin E. Most products will not have high Vitamin E because the ingredient is expensive.
  3. Never go to bed with your make-up on. Make-up that is left on overnight clogs the pores and prevents the skin cells from shedding, which may cause blemishes and/or blackheads. The skin needs to breathe over night. Waterproof make-up is most easily removed with a gel cleanser. The most important thing that you can do for your facial skin is to avoid sunlight or use liberal amounts of sunscreen. Sunlight causes the skin to age and causes skin cancer which is the most common malignancy in humans. The most common location for these tumors is the face. If you do not believe that the sun ages your skin, then look at the skin under your upper arm and compare it to the skin on your face and the back of the hands.
  4. The easiest thing to do.....keep your skin clean and drink lots of water. Pimples are caused from perspiration and dust getting on your skin and seeping into your pores. You have to regularly cleanse your skin. The key here is REGULARLY. You can't wash your skin once a week and call it good, it needs to happen morning and night and anytime you sweat a lot or get dirty. Drinking lots of water, helps to flush out impurities and helps to make your skin be hydrated and look better. It will also help to decrease undereye circles
