Share this bad experience with this TV repair man called John and phone number 91012800. His company is located in Blk 3007, Ubi Road 1, #06-402 Singapore 408701. We engaged him to repair our TV set and the service very unsatisfactory. We initially had a colour problem and had contacted him based on his classified ads on newspaper that says fast and prompt as well as call John. When asked him for quotation, he diverted the question and promised to come down on the spot to check. We were amazed by his efficiency. When he came down, he said that he was able to repair it as the TV tube was okay. He took back our motherboard to repair and was fast to return it. During the first try, it did not work and he claimed our tube was spoilt and offered to replace the tube. Again some delay. The replacement of the tube means changing the casing and that means replacing our own TV set totally. Being ignorant, we agreed. The next time the TV came back, we discovered it was an old, dusty TV casing and the colour was restored but since this TV casing was an old reconditioned problem, it produced crackling sounds and the images disappeared at least 20 times a day and had to be knocked. This showed up after we had tested the TV and paid for the service. Since the warranty was given to be one month, we expected him to restore the TV to the original condition (without the crackling sounds and the disappearing image). Our original TV was in good condition and had no such problems. Ever since he accepted the money, he was slow and kept delaying. We wanted him to make good but it did not happened. Instead he brought an old TV (that only has Channel 5) and suggested we use this. We asked for our refund of total $170 as he did not solve our problem but to date he had ignored our phones. Imaging paying for $170 for a worn and dirty old TV which is not even worth the value for garang guni. As a repairman, if you cannot promised to repair the TV, you should admit up front and should not cheat the customers to get away from it. All consumers, please be aware of this company. He often advertises on classifieds and also on Mocca and Street directory. We have lodged a claim against him.

Do not recommend this contractor from Soterior Interior Works. Poor project management, fail to follow up on items and extended delay. The day the cabinets were supposed to be installed, they did not turn up. The guy, who seems to be the sole worker, did not even bother to update us. He even requested for payment for his workers and for materials before the work has even started. As this was the first time we have engaged a contractor, we did not know that we should only pay him only when the works are completed. When the money is paid up, the works were then delayed and alot of pushing has to be done on our part for the works. To date, there are still outstanding works that have yet to be completed.
