My bathroom originally comes with shower glass door. We dismantled the glass door due to accessibility issues. So instead of fixing a glass door, I am thinking of installing a shower curtain to prevent the water from splashing out. I have attached a picture of my bathroom. The black lines are the walls and the red lines were where the shower glass door was. The problem now is...where to find or fabricate such a rod?

Not sure this have been solved. but I opened it by inserting a screw driver into the holes and turned it clockwise.

Hi I am having the usual square down light installed in my false ceiling. Recently one of the down light is not working anymore and does not light up even after changing the bulbs. Therefore I suspected it the down light fixture that is spoil. How do I replace it? Or should I call an electrician since it is installed in the false ceiling?

Hi everyone, I was sold out on a better idea on having a good vacuum, because last week, some sales representatives from Rainbow came to my house to do a demo. The vacuum cleaner was good, but it cost more than $3k. So I searched around the internet, and the most affordable type was OSIM uEco Genius 3-in-1 cleaner. But then there are hardly any review of the product. Anyone using it and able to give a review of it?

I'm thinking of getting a mirror from Ikea and ask my contractor to install lights above the mirror...However, I seem to be unable to find any that I like (Some very old fashioned or expensive). Furthermore, I got no idea which type of design I like..... Anyone got pictures of their bathroom mirror lights to share?

In this forum, there are lots of ID but not contractors recommendations. I guess many of us are looking for cheap and good workmanship if we have our own design in mind and do not need someone to design for us. The recommended Contractors in this forum I chanced upon are: 1) Ah Soon - From the feedbacks, he is a very busy man and you have to closely monitor your renovations. 2) Mr Yeat - Fully booked till mid-October. 3) Ho Bee - Reportedly good after-sales service. However quotation might be on the high side for contractors. Is there other contractors that is recommended which has good workmanship? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
