Dirty Grout Lines On New Tiles!
kru replied to happysnowball's topic in Ceiling, Walls and Flooring Works
I tried this product on my 5 yr old homogenous glossy tiles which had that almost impossible stains to remove. I must say this is best product so far I've used to restore grout lines. One drawback is application is quite laborious as had to scrub every individual tile grout lines to remove the stains as mopping or going over it lightly not able to do the job. But once done the floor looks like new with clean white grout lines. Another concern is after initial application floor will feel oily and have to mop and wipe a few times to remove the oily feel. Seller mentioned this is normal and should go away after 3-4 days but a few thorough rounds of mopping and wiping can clear it immediately as I worry my children walking on the slippery surface. Was told it could protect the tiles for about 6 mths. Used only about 1/3 of the amount bought so can have 2 more rounds of cleaning if needed -
Some info on dust mites. http://www.naturalginesis.com/info_dustmites.html Having mattress vacuumed will definitely lessen the effects of dust mites

yes it is possible. We did it for our house. They don use spray paint but look like normal paint. A few coats to get the desired effect. So far 1 year on and don't see any chips even around area where the padlock is used.

Having seen your your house before and now after, I am glad you have achieved the resort feel home which you planned for with much detail. Happy for you. When is the house warming?

Got Sweetdreams mattress+bedframe at less than 1k. Other mattresses which have similar feel all priced higer. without bedframe. Was the Magic Koil latex range launch price very attractive?
-
I jus bought queen sized matterss Sweetdreams brand, model Aquarius. Pocketed spring with latex top. Salesperson said its made in Malaysia and quite known there. Anybody can give feedback on this brand. We tried around a few mattress and found this mattress which felt comfortable both on body and pocket. Other similar mattress which felt similar are priced 1.5k upwards just for mattress without bedframe. Out of our budget.

I am in similar situation as you. I have decided to retain my balcony for time being. If u decide to install windows then I think should remove sliding doors cos as you say will be claustrophobic.

Hello, Welcome to Sengkang also 5I flat at Compassvale Walk. Whereabouts are you? I am guessing somewhere Rivervale? I too did not engage ID but went for contractor.

Painted my 5rm resale house (123sq m) for $900 using Nippon Easy wash paint (2 coats). Citypainters. Only downside I engaged different contractors for various jobs (to save cost) so need some co-ordination to make sure job gets done on schedule.

I ordered my curtains from JB for RM449. Balcony day and night : 3.52m x 2.54m Living room window night : 1.61m x 1.5m Did not get any railings as used back pevious owners' ones. Price vary on price of material chosen. Can range from RM5/m to RM50/m. We chose RM22/m material from Korea.

Ya 7-11 is convenient for buying anything late night. Rivervale has NTUC/wet market for day to day marketing while Compasspoint is within walking distance to big retail outlets and restaurants. It's one of major reasons we picked this area of SK. Actually looking at Hougang to stay near to parents but can't afford the high COV in the area there last year so had to go plan B. So far ok. Hope your reno goes smoothly. I am also looking around this forum to get ideas for my house. I did not do much reno when I moved in. Still have curtains and some furniture to slowly save and buy.
