  1. Wow! What a transformation! Your house is looking GREAT! Cant wait to see the end result! I love your toilet..very niceeeeee Dont mind me asking..what is the brand of your black hood?
  2. Interesting staircase! Are you planning to re-do the staircase or keeping it as it is?
  3. Hi Cugu Looking forward to seeing pics of your newly purchased house!
  4. How long did u take to fix these tables? I cant believe they didnt come with instruction manual..now I am worried
  5. Finally selected my 2nd floor laminate... Hope I won't regret this choice... the small wood board is the colour of my staircase steps...ID was very nice to stain a piece of the staircase step for me to compare with the floor laminate to ensure the colours will "gel and flow"... Went Blum shopping last week with my ID... Honestly, Blum really needs to send their staff to attend some courses/workshops on customer service.. I shall not waste my effort typing about what happened, but their service really CMI....tsk tsk I like their undermount sink drawer unit..but the price is ...I am certainly not going to pay nearly $200 for that pathetic small amount of space.
  6. The four colourful thing is floor mat la! LOL.. Very cheap can, 4pcs for $13+ before shipping..hehe...I was tempted to buy a hello kitty one, but I can imagine my husband face if I buy it I didnt search for nice table mat...as I never have the habit of using it in my current place...what type of designs are u looking for?
  7. Only bought this...read review that the metal boxed-up strainer with wood handles will stain the kitchen top...You bought Sellena sink too?
  8. Blum showroom uses "chicken brand" dish rack too
  9. These are all built-in dish racks..must buy on your own...for sure my ID didnt throw in FOC for me la..
  10. More Taobao shipment arrived today... Dining chairs... Bought 1pc to check out the quality before ordering more. Quality is overall surprisingly good, however the legs were a teeny weeny wobbly after screwing on the legs. ID said the size is a bit too big for our 1.6m dining table and more suitable for study room chair..hmm...what do u think? I cant decide... LED lights look good...quality seems decent. A lot bigger than I thought...overall pretty happy with this purchase Master bedroom kohler basin...pretty happy with this purchase too! Though I thought the packing was not very secured, but it came intact.
  11. Went shopping at Song Cho today to check out the infamous "chicken brand" dish rack...I am seriously shocked at the prices! The top pic cost abt $400, and the below pic cost abt $270. Both have rust-free warranty, the differences between the two dish racks: (1) The more exp one is of stronger and better quality (2) The more exp one makes better use of the space as the rack is flushed to the wall, where else the cheaper one has some space in between rack and wall The $400 dish rack is out of stock FYI ... I am planning to check out Hoe Kee. Any idea what are their pricing like? Quality wise comparable?
  12. Went down site with ID earlier this morning and decided to leave the toilet as it is..as we are putting our cat litterbox in that toilet too, hence the door will be open at all times unless someone wants to go in to use the toilet. We didnt want to fork out the extra $$$ to hack and re-screed the entire wall as we are not going to use the toilet very often (this toilet does not include shower facilities)
  13. Hi Alfred, there is no shower faucet installed in this toilet as it's too tiny. We will keep this toilet open-door most of the time unless someone is using it. But despite that, still unsure if we should pay some $$ to add in a bit ventilation...sighs
  14. Took some pics while we were visiting the new house
  15. Went over to the new place to have a look before they start to cement screed the living room floor... and noticed that our 1st floor toilet has ZERO ventilation (no toilet window), and plus the fact that we are having sliding door for that toilet, there is no way we can leave a gap... This toilet will mainly cater to guests or when we are too lazy to go up 2nd floor to use the toilet. As u can see, they have cement screed the wall already, so if i were to ask to hack the top part (above door) to replace with ventilation blocks, that is going to cost me $$...so I am just wondering how important is it to have ventilation for the toilet?
  16. 1st floor toilet with no ventilation Do you think I should do anything abt it?
  17. it's a sliding door...dun think we are able to leave a gap above the door...sighs Thinking if I should hack the top part away to put ventilation blocks so that there will be some form of ventilations... obviously $$$ I wanted to install exhaust fan in 2 of the toilets too, but the window supplier advised me against it, saying the power of the exhaust fan will eventually die down, and its not very useful to ventilate the toilet..plus I myself have a bit of OCD, and the thought of not able to clean the exhaust fan kind of bug me... He told me there are 2 types of exhaust fans - one gets powered when u pull the string and other is motor. The former dun look very nice, with that string thinggy, and the motor version is much nicer, however expensive...so in the end, we just opt for normal louver window.
  18. Anyone of you faces the same problem as me? 1st floor toilet no ventilation window... Is it important to have ventilation for the toilet?
  19. Thanks for sharing! I think its really sound advice...crucial step that most people will miss...
  20. Good advice, I was just thinking abt this..if I should buy extended warranty...
  21. UR RIGHT! Let me go "investigate"! It comes with 2-years warranty
