    i was thinking.. his idea is not entirely unworkable, BUT - warranty issue the warranty is normally attached to the outdoor unit ( i think ) and it's accompanying indoor units that are first installed with it. so the warranty will not cover this new indoor unit. and if anything spoils, i wonder who is he going to call for servicing... - working kW need to calculate whether the existing outdoor unit can support the new total kW required when this additional indoor unit is connected to it. in short, it's freaking troublesome, imo!

    for company to join RADAC, methinks it's about $800/yr subscription; and it's not compsulory. all the reno firm/ID that i've approached and shortlisted are not RADAC-accredited.
