  1. Cat, can share with me where you got your bell?
  2. Thank you. I hope so too. Can't wait to move. Hee.
  3. The strips came with the house. Yeah I think the shiny one's a bit outdated already. My old place is near Senja. Yours must be @Grand right? Used to bring my kids to the playground there.
  4. Yeah I am hacking some walls and relocating entrances. Today is the 10th day of the reno application =(
  5. Thanks hor. Have heeded your advice.
  6. Thanks. It looks good. Can't wait to have mine repolished. A whole house of timber strips flooring. Going for the matte finish too.
  7. Is it the polished, shiny one or matte finished? But it looks good. Your kitchen's transformation is also very nice.
  8. Ok, your pictures can already make me puke, I wonder how it feels like living there. But you got your flat at a good price and no COV somemore. Can't wait for it to be transformed. Something like "Extreme Makeover - Home Edition", only that you have to use your own $$ lor. Good luck!!
  9. Thanks all. The project manager in charge of my reno told us that she tried calling him and leaving voice messages but the officer didn't return her calls. The reno completion date given by HDB is 12 Jan but I don't think my reno can be completed on time because we have to wait for the hacking to be approved before starting reno. We'll try calling/ emailing the officer tomorrow. Went to Heritage to recce their bathroom accessories and we were quite happy with the items. Gonna purchase from them once reno starts. Must thank the RT peeps who mentioned them.
  10. It would be easy for me to say don't get too stressed up but I bet it's not easy for you to just not think about it. We'll continue hoping for the best. Hopefully your agent help you get out of the mess. If they are still not out yet, just go to the police. The house is already lawfully yours. Whatever contract the tenants have with the ex owner should be void already mah. *Hugs*
  11. Hello and welcome. Wishing you a smooth reno journey =)
  12. Hi! Hope your reno is going on well =)
  13. To all those who did hacking and all, how long did it take for your permit to be approved? My permit has yet to be fully approved, still have 2 items pending and I think it is really taking a long time.
  14. *hugs* I hope you get through this.
  15. Yeah I went to view those in Senja and Segar as well. Looks like normal 5room flats lei the EAs. Bangkit is a good location, so nearby market. We saw 1 that we like in Gangsa. Super big at 151sqm. But asking for cov 30k and above. Overbudget. And needs major overhaul too.
  16. Nice place you've got there. Think the reno went well. Always felt that Mr Yeak did a great job with the houses. By the time I wanted to engage Yeak, he's too busy already.
  17. Hi preciousjam, mine's in Fajar. Not so new. 11 years old. Paid 395k +15k cov. Quite a good price compared to the prices now *faints* My old house is in the newer part of Ring Road. My mom's living nearby that's why we still wanna stick around here.
  18. Yup miss my old kitchen. It's spacious compared to the new one.
  19. Thanks. I think I will go down to Heritage and GR Link before buying. Saw Bellari down the road but think if I go on, I will burst my budget.
  20. See, think 2k is too much for changing the entrance lei.

  22. Definitely nicer than the 1st drawings. But isn't it funny to have the door open up to the wet area instead of dry? Hope the meeting turns out fine.
  23. The orang mosaic tiles are very nice! Your reno is progressing well =)
  24. Love the island. Wanted this for my kitchen but afraid it might obstruct the walkway. Have always preferred white solid top but vetoed by the other half.
