  1. I am another satisfied customer of MGL Curtain. We did full length day and night curtains for MBR, and full length curtains for our living room. Price came up to $750. They were quite efficient in putting up the curtains and arranging them. The curtains are gorgeous! What made me extra happy was that when we first bought curtains from them, they came to our flat to measure the curtains for production. Later on, we decided to build a wooden platform in our living room (which should shorten the length of the curtains required). However, we forgot to tell MGL about it, and everyone realised that the curtains were too long, only when it was time to put them up. Thankfully, the staff of MGL very obligingly and without prompting told us that they would amend it and come back. And they did so within one week! We weren't charged extra either. Thumbs up for good service!
  2. I am using this LG Washer Cum Dryer. Bought it at Gain City for about $870. I thought it was quite good value for money, plus front load washers are supposed to be more energy and water efficient. So far it's not bad. Noise wise, it depends on which stage the washing is it. It is quiet most of the time, but towards the end of the wash, when it's spinning the clothes at 1400 rpm, it does vibrate quite a bit. But I find that still acceptable. For the dryer, I've tried it once. It has a REALLY long drying time. For some strange reason, although the clothes may already be dry, the machine still continues its drying cycle. I think I'll use this function sparingly. One point to note though, front load washers need low sud washing powder/detergent. I didn't realise that at first, and bought normal washing powder . .
  3. My ID quoted $540 for 3 bedrooms. Feel that it's quite expensive as the bedrooms aren't big.
  4. Anyone else with feedback on U-Home and their IDs? Am considering hiring them for my resale flat reno. .
  5. Hi I went down to * recently and got a quotation from them. Their price seems quite reasonable. Does anyone have any feedback on this company, and the ID Johnny?
