^really? mine was 2,300 for full-height night and day curtains for the living room (quite a big area), roller blinds for 4 bedrooms, plus string curtains for the cozy/study room. all inclusive of the mechanisms. BUT I noticed that the guys who installed the curtains were from Europa... I think it's better to directly deal with Europa to cut costs. With that said, however, service provided to us by Chris of Choice Curtains was superb so I would still recommend him to others

Buy Furniture And Lighting In Jb. Good Or Bad Choice?

if we buy items from JB, do we pay tax at SG immigration? -
another Tampines dweller! congrats!

dark grey is good. If your sofa is solid red in color, then you can go for laminates/wallpaper with designs/patterns... depends on the look that you're aiming for. based on the color of your sofa, i think most likely you want modern or contemporary theme, right?

red can be paired with white or black. How about white paint for the walls and glossy black laminate or black tinted glass for the TV feature wall and console? What color is your floor?

I sent a long SMS to her this morning and got no reply. So I asked my husband to talk to her, ID said she can rectify the other stuff but she can't do anything about the sidetable and cozy corner partition. Hubby said they look fine so he doesn't want to pursue and argue, but I am still disappointed and unhappy about it. For the cozy corner, the original design was to have two sliding frameless glass doors at the side. During the reno, she told me that she has to put frames on the glass doors and put the tracks on the floor as the false ceiling won't be able to hold the heavy glass. The frame is needed to support the glass as the supporting mechanism will be from the bottom, not on top. She insisted that having framed glass doors would look just as good. I told her that she should have done the partition first and installed the frameless glass doors before installing the false ceiling. The support would come from the real ceiling, not false ceiling. I really wanted the design that we had agreed on. But she said that if she removes part of the partition and do the timber installation, it would delay the reno for a few days, which is something that I do not want as I plan to move in by this week. In other words, she doesn't want to do extra work to rectify her mistake when in the first place it was her idea to put frameless sliding glass doors on one side of the room. In the end I told her to just install frameless glass partition without doors since there is already an entrance on the side and we don't want the tracks to be seen from the bottom and ruin the floor. She agreed, but she didn't tell me that there would still be a thick frame holding the whole glass. So now I have to live with a room that looks like a picture frame when viewed from outside. I don't mind having a thick frame on top and at the sides of the glass, but not at the bottom. I'll post pics tomorrow and let you guys see if it really looks bad. I may be overexaggerating, but to me it really looks like a picture frame

I went to the house last night and was so, so, so disappointed at a lot of things. Bedroom sidetable laminate doesn't match the TV feature wall; what should be a frameless glass partition has a frame!@#!!; what should be glass tinted wardrobe doors are clear/transparent, etc. I don't have the heart to enumerate all the mistakes right now. All I can say is, don't engage with UNIMAX and my ID. You'd pay more for a design that you don't want
