  1. Hahaha... That's under their new WOods collection. I got the same piece too. Arrival in April though. Hey, I just bought the leifheit mop press set today. Also bought quite a few other accessories like laundry hanging rails etc.
  2. Day 69 Laminate flooring planks from "Krono-swiss" under Noblesse series arrived this morning. The package comes with foam silencer with aluminum backing. A big relief after looking at the woodgrain pattern on the exact mounting piece. Turns out to be our liking. Installation will begin on Monday.
  3. Oh ...Kool! Which model is that? My side currently doing the bits and pieces at the moment while awaiting the carpentry guys. I've quite a fair bit of carpentry wish items; thus, they have to take a bit of time @ factory side Thanks! I luv the glass door too...
  4. No worries, take some pics & start posting your own T-Blog with Edmund ya Since I've seen both silver & chrome, I personally prefer chrome. Both will not rust. But since yours is swing door, your handle will be something similar to that of my master toilet door. The rounded handle is purely for sliding door application.
  5. Butter, I love the blinds chosen for your study room. Nice texture Any latest pic on your living furnishing?
  6. Day 65-68 Cleaning done. Finally got to see my flooring in shiny state "Unfinished" wall at far end will be my TV feature wall. Living hall in light earth tone Had earlier requested the glass installer to change the sliding door rounded handle to chrome in color as don't quite like the matt silver outlook. Very efficient Kitchen flooring in dark earth tone
  7. Yea bro!!! Love the "transparent" look too! Integrates the kitchen with the living hall, making the whole space looks brighter & bigger But of cos, bleeds my wallet so much...
  8. Common Toilet bi-foldable door with no tracks running at foot area (Plastic protective layer still on acrylic) Living-Kitchen 3.3m frameless tempered glass sliding door (10mm thickness)
  9. Day 60-64 Grilles are up Inside view Outside view Master Toilet tempered glass swing door Master Toilet Shower Screen
  10. Yeah, that house is really amazing... I can't imagine how many cents were thrown into that built-up. Do agree that Lorgan stuff are on the pricey side, but try to observe the quality compared to seemingly similar items you see @ other stores. As for your chairs, they should be called panton chairs in originality. Saw one original vintage piece @ Lorgan but tagged "Sold". Chairs of such shape requires good workmanship during molding process, which equivalently retails more usually. Most of the time, poorly made ones are not able to last as long as we wish it to be. Just my personal view
  11. It's always the case... happens to me, too. Always contemplate whenever calls a decision Exactly our sentiments, bro... time is on our side & we are very much concerned on the finished product You really speak my mind
  12. Day 59 Same team from Gain City arrived this morning for the 2nd installation. Nothing went wrong & was both surprised and glad that they gave me a higher btu- 13k, instead of 10k btu, for all my bedrooms. Living remains at 26k btu. Tested all units for 2 hours & all seem running good and cooling. I had chosen Mitsubishi Electric and the outdoor unit was really quiet. Virtually no sound at all when I tried to lean closely to the compressor, mounted just outside my master bedroom. Fittings for the toilets are installed today. Finally, got to see my HG acc. assembled up. Will post pics once toilets are in cleaner & better shape
  13. I realise I din take any pics when we place the order. Anyway, we chose a different color to the showroom piece. Will take pic when the furniture arrives ya.
  14. Yah, Alan, one of the sales person there, already recognises us. hahahahaha... We ordered our dining chairs last weekend.
  15. U're welcome My progress little by little each day.... hahaha Oh... true, both LUSH & LORGAN are a bit inaccessible if one does not drive. Update me what you got by then k haha We went LUSH last weekend again
  16. Hi simon, guess what... My sis, who is in the midst renovating her new house, showed me your kitchen cabinet & told me she loved the look. hahaha... Your kitchen can really put as showflat. Really cool! Nice color combin. dude!
  17. SGK, it's true that most glossy laminate will show the "waves" under light, esp. dark colors like black will be more obvious. Worse still, if bigger surface areas are used. Butterfingerzzz, how's your shopping? Have you found your chairs? Btw, your kitchen is really nice. Got the clean & long lasting look, I like
  18. Sigh bro .... Guess gotta disappoint you as HO won't be so soon. Already told Edmund during the initial stage that we are fine as long as HO before CNY. We also don't wish to rush him & ended up compromising the QC. Anyway, the carpenters are currently working on my carpentry stuff @ their factory. So, will only move over to my place for assembly once the woodworks are more or less there. By then, I believe the progress should be quite substantial as compared to now. Over this period, I got to know Edmund more & he is a man of his words (till date ); so, fingers crossed that he keeps to this impression in us I'm so envious of you with your super chop chop transformation. Fast=less headache Guess your family must be dolling up your place for coming CNY soon hur
  19. Ya it's not... that's why I " ..." it. haha.
  20. Day 52-58 Lights & electrical points all up. Currently awaiting carpentry guys. Some preview: The guys using the water leveller to make sure the line of installation is not crooked. Plus point Partial view of downlights @ Living hall Downlights @ Master Bedroom Light @ Common Bedroom Overall installation is good. No complains
  21. Hi Dugong, I'm sure you can find plentiful stuff @ Lorgan for your modern retro theme... They have too many to name. Personally, I really love your chosen theme, but fear that my piggy bank may over-bleed to achieve a full pledged modern retro theme Will bookmark your blog to peep @ your transformation Lastly, a true modern retro house for inspiration: www dot myhometown dot sg/Forum/tabid/84/aff/23/aft/362/afv/Topic/Default.aspx <--- Really blew me off after reading 75 pages of his blog.
  22. Yeah bro... Black is kinda "limited edition"... But, your red magis does look attention-seeking... stand out from your TV console area
  23. Yah, my black magis is the small sized one. Should be similar with yours. It was a gift, bro.
  24. Cool... Where did you get the Eames repro chairs from? Comfort? Bro, I got the Magis puppy, too but mine in black color
