swee swee!!! i think front loaders are much more water efficient. remember to dry out the rim along the door. i see my MIL wipe that area dry after every wash. one thing i dun understand about front loaders---where's the lint filter?

i feel it's ideal for that!!! i also had such thoughts....somewhere dry so maintenance is not an issue.

my tiler team is 2-man....both plump plump ones... i don't think enough manpower to tile your place lah!!! you dowan them to take 1 mth to tile right!?!? you're probably getting a 4-5man team of tilers i guess.... and what are you doing posting at such early times on a SAT?!!? i'm still happily in dreamland....

they knock off about 5-6pm usually.... my tiler is ah-hao...plump and friendly guy....very nice chap.... apparently he's not gonna be the tiler for kopi-kor since jason said ah-hao not going tampines....

this one is made in spain....i think >$3 psf range....exactly, am not sure. looks super nice right... i feel so silly for changing it ....sigh.... very envious of chip's loo tiles!

got a few shops sell recycled wood furniture in sg. i guess you could ask them. offhand i cannot remember what the companies are.....google?

yeah, the workers have the lights on since not dismantled yet and the ceiling fan running at full speed. they even brought a radio and plugged it in for their entertainment. but they are very considerate, they switch off the mains everytime they leave.

i actually like the wooden wall!!!! think it must cost a pretty penny to install that.... not very practical for a small HDB flat tho... sigh.....i feel very sayang it's gonna go....

might as well switch and have peace of mind....one less screw up to worry about for the tiling section also... and since tiling is the longest duration, try to make that as shun shun li li as possible. if worst case, tiles get spoilt and not enough , then must re-order,wait and wait...it will hold up the whole renov process..

the windows uncle got ask your waht color tinted windows you want? no windows uncle or aunty called me leh... then now my grills are missing also. am using back the old ones....save $.....all gone! lol now dunno how.

ah, finally met up with jason for a quick one y'day... was raining but not pouring.. common toilet wall tiles up and grouted mrb toilet wall tiles n floor tiles up (presumed waterproofing done also) windows for both toilets changed windows for living and common room changed i dunno why the windows change so fast!! i tot i could get to choose like white or silver or something....bleah. i got the normal bronze color.
