Sent the VC back and they changed the motor. 5 years ago bought a 21" CTV, it broke down after 1 years 2 months.. Got to pay $100 for repair (outside). However, the clock radio that I bought 20+ years ago now still working well

Probably the carpenter did not paint a coat of sealer (primer) on the furniture... A primer is a preparatory coating put on materials before painting. Priming ensures better adhesion of paint to the surface, increases paint durability, and provides additional protection for the material being painted. yup, I think that is the answer. As long as u keep the gas tank area cool will be fine. Moreover, all built in oven must have the feature to release hot air to the front and not towards side or back .. tat is why it can be built in mah

Overall they still quite ok. I got friend's aircon did by them and did not hear him complain. One good thing on GC is they accept credit card, but dunno abt the GC in IMM. My parent hse aircon did by GC and their wokmanship is good and after sale service is good, even call back to check a few weeks after installation.

zirkhk3355, I think the "govt haulage" should be included in the fee paid to the appointed contractor. Do check with him again. TYM, If your ID already included the haulage in the quote, then he will pay to the appointed contractor. Check with him if there is any hidden cost. For my reno, my contractor told me my quote already include all haulage of sand and debris collection, means he will pay to appointed contractor. The only hidden cost is cooking gas pipe installation which will be bill to me directly.

Not all hacking need PE endorsement. Maybe u can check whether your neighbour did any hacking and if they need any endorsement. U can also check with HDB. Normally PE endorsement need $500++ I did some hacking for my reno without PE endorsement As for th haulage, some ID will quote together with flooring, while some seperate out. Do enquire during the quotation. For new flats, some town council will enforce contactor to buy sand and haulage from their designated contractor. U may see those notice near the lift.
