  4. its a matter of personal choice whether to fully or partially tile up yr kitchen wall. my present kitchen is not fully tiled. however in my reno, i've decided to fully tile all exposed wall. fortunately for me, i've asked my contractor to include all cost for reinstating plumbing & electricals affected by the reno but i'll need to provide the electrical switchgears.
  5. hahahaa...my guess will be that the contractor make use of whatever leftover lengths he has......
  6. yup...u r correct.....i probably will shop around for a chrome set after reno's done and if the sight of the white pvc bottle trap is really ugly......

  15. hi, i've the same dilemma as you yesterday but i've decided on taking the white pvc bottle trap since it comes free with my glass vanity/basin top. wanting a chrome trap will $35 & thats excluding the connecting pipeworks. i'm tinking of spray painting the pvc bottle trap black to see how it turns out. worst case, i will LL go buy the chrome set & diy....
  16. hi, i'm also at a split between laminate or glass for my mbr vanity cabinet. btw how much does yr glass finished vanity cabinet cost? is the table top in glass too or is it solid surface? thanks.
  17. i was contemplating getting a massage panel too but i'm concern about water wastage, imagine u standing there enjoying the water spray and all the while water (aka $$$$$$) is flowing into the drain.....i would tink having a massage bath tub makes more sense as the water is recirculated....

  22. Hi, I know this thread is quite dated. However, I'm in the process of renovating my place and am shopping for the usual stuffs. I come across a shop at Balestier selling NOBEL brand sinks, taps & mixers. Price & appearance seems pretty good. However, I cant seem to find anyone here in Renotalk having mentioned this brand. If anyone here have any experience with this brand, I will greatly appreciate your feedback. Thanks.
  23. hi sorry for late reply as i've been busy...i;ve only called the contractor for a verbal quote on his rates. i've not decided on who to award the work too yet as my reno contractor seems to be giving me a pretty competitive pricings.
