  1. It looks like you have 2.7m on the wall to place the sofa. If you have only 3 or 4 people at home get a L-Shape, if you have more people, a bit more challenging.
  2. It all depends on the type of clothes you have, I suppose you would want to have as much hanging room as possible. Just figure out the minimum drawer and shelf space you need and then use everything else as hanging.
  3. Yup, it makes sense because prices will only go up in the long run. But, it really depends on how long you want them to hold, 6 months or less may make sense. Longer than 6 months might be too long.
  4. If you do a little bit of research on Dorma, you will find that they are the royal warrant holder for bed linens not mattresses. Dorma does not manufacture mattresses in UK. In Singapore, Dorma is made by the same company that makes KingKoil, so if you are planning to buy a Dorma then you should just buy a KingKoil and save a lot of money in the process.
  5. Memory foam was invented to be put in the seats for astronauts when they get sent to space, it helps spread out the G forces. Putting memory foam in a sofa is a waste of money.
  6. I only saw clearance Sealy mattresses at Courts Megastore. Maybe you can go and check it out.
  7. Are you planning to shoot you sofa into space?
  8. You can check out EMU at 16 Tai Seng Street as well.

    Clocks

Takashimaya has several collections, IKEA clocks are cheap and good.
  10. Interesting observation. Consider this, who takes the consumers' money? The retailers or the so called suppliers. The retailer is the person selling the product to the end-user, they must be responsible for the coordination of the deliveries. If all they have to do is to coordinate deliveries and they can't even do that properly, do they deserve to make a profit on the sale? Retailers are not stupid, if the manufacturers consistently miss delivery dates, they must be able to factor in these problems and arrange accordingly instead of promising consumers deliveries that they know cannot be met just to make the sale.
  11. Wow, you seem to know quite a bit about Omazz, do you work for them?
  12. Hi Jervis, I read somewhere in this forum that an Omazz will sag after 2 years because it is all latex foam. Perhaps you may want to reconsider. Steel springs tend to be more resilient than foam and more durable.
  13. Consider this, 4 Star is made in Singapore, Dunlopillo is made in Vietnam, sure got price difference.
  14. I believe IKEA has a four poster bed. If you live very far from IFC then I suggest you just go to Furniture Mall at Beach Road, most of the stores are the same.
  15. There's a place at Kampong Ampat that sells furniture that are removed from hotels, you can also try the Salvation Army at Upp Bukit Timah and Upp Serangoon.
  16. Found the Sealy facebook page for Singapore, just search for Sealy Asia on facebook, it should show up.
  17. Don't know about this bed frame. I do know that Star Furniture has good quality.
  18. Mudan at Cluny Court also has some classical pieces. You can always go to Meroni and DaVinci as well. I am assuming that when you say French-Inspired you mean classical.
  19. Clean with mild detergent when necessary. Keep out of direct sunlight.
  20. How much did you spend on the Kingsbury? It must cost a bomb.
  21. Area not bad la. But living room quite small.
  22. IKEA has a few good looking oval coffee tables.
  23. You got big flat mah. If I put recliners in my new flat then got problems man.
  24. Buying a fake Kartell piece is like buying a fake LV bag. So only buy fake Kartell furniture if you are prepared to walk around with fake leather goods.
