if you are not particular abt the fridge jutting out, guess tats the simplest way to solve the issue.

i experience the same issue with the bulbs...is it the twin tubes kind of bulb tat you are using? already replaced once with lightings.com and my contractor told me tat this kind of bulb can blow easily...

if tats the case. i dun mind engaging you to do all my reno then...but i think you will be achieving such dream sooner than me...

ya, most hdb flats floor to ceiling only about 2.5m nia, so if you add in false ceiling, definitely will be less than the required clearance liao...

imo, if 2.4m is the requirement, i think alot of our houses with false ceiling would have failed this.

ya, agree tat top and bottom is the norm in almost all household cos top cabinets are needed to either cover the pipings and also those kitchens in new flats are so small tat if you dun maximise the space, there is really not much storage space at all.

time will flash pass quickly, patience is the key...meanwhile do some shopping for your desired items...by the time you collected your keys, you will start lamenting that your wallet is bleeding...

most brand oven comes with tangential ventilation - it will blow out hot air once the oven reach a certain temp, so i guess it should be ok bah.

for lightings, you may wanna pop by A-lightings too, recommended by some of the fellow forumers.
