not sure abt the varnishing thingy, but if i am not wrong, varnishing should be done after the floor is free from sand particle and dust, if not the effects will not be good. lets hope edmund can resolve your issues soon.

the opennet has been installed at my mom's place. basically it starts from the main power distribution unit and ends at your desired location. The cable casing is about 1cm in width, so still not tat bad in my opinion.

at least they have brought forward the installation from 2012 to apr, so we can still ask ID/contractor to assist if possible. where are u planning to install the box? any false ceiling to conceal the wiring?

if you wanna see edmund's works, you can refer to bluewater's t-blog, think KSJL also posted her reno pics there. i chose edmund over henry also cos of the interaction part, feels tat i can click better with him. for your reference, i have gotten quotes from both and edmund's is slightly higher than henry's.

i believe both contractors are equally capable in carrying out your reno and ultimately i think it will still boil down to how well you can communicate/click with them. shall await for your decision...

KSJL, i would say edmund's quote is not the lowest but I am satisfied with the works he is producing, so I dun mind paying a little more for the quality. graceakaclouds, if you are not doing feature walls, then your reno should not cost more than 20k unless u have other expensive items which u are buying...hehe

i would say bluewater was the one who intro him to me but must give u credit also cos you have reinforced my decision...hehe oic, he also told me he is following up on a few units...his carpentry works are pretty good although his quote is slightly higher than impress21. wats your reno budget?

ya, was very impressed with henry's responsiveness. he was the first i met and gave me the quote a week later which he delivered as promised. ...reasonable quote i would say. Edmund was the last contractor i contacted. Like most people say, either it is the first or last one you get....haha Have decided on Edmund in the end and reno should begin anytime soon...

there are certain sinks that are for undermount and certain types for top mount. not sure whether yours is top mount type or undermount type.
