  4. ya, you are right again...if you are installing the storage heater, you gotta walk to living room to turn on the heater...actually not too faraway also la...hehe so far i haven seen anyone switching the storage heater from those switches but if u do discover it, please let me know too...
  5. hi rxxxx, you are right, the only way to turn on the storage heater is from the switch in the living room. dun understand why they design it this way though. the switches outside the toilets are for instant heater only.

  8. guess tats how the pelmet will be done. dunno whether i am thinking too far, if there is any issue with the sliding door in future, the pelmet will need to be removed? not sure whether need any maintenance on the sliding track?? i will be doing something similar to yours except that mine is in smaller strips of mirror and laminates, and finally i have completed all my carpentry selection today.....

  13. i did revisit his thread and there are still some negative comments mentioned. anyway glad tat kiven has resolved his issues and move on. Hope fencer is able to do tat as well. i understand there is no perfect reno and accept tat mistakes are bound to happen. However if the mistakes can be rectified, then there will be no further issue. About the cracked tile issue, am no expert to comment whether it can be rectified or not. perhaps you may wanna shed a light on this??
  14. ya, tats the pelmet i am toking abt. i believe it should be a L-shaped cover enclosing the whole door track and not the whole sliding door, ie the track would only be visible if you are standing directly below it after the pelmet is installed.
  15. everything is going smoothly and you should be able to move in soon...
  16. i am also not sure how it looks like, perhaps something similar to the curtain pelmet??
  17. grace, your kitchen door track should have a pelmet covering it right?

  19. i dun think you are the only one with negative feedback, kiven78 also had such experiences...hope your issues can be resolved amicably soon...wish you luck.

  21. seriously i strongly urge you to reconsider engaging your hubby's biz associate contractor and you should get quotes from different ID/contractors before you decide.
