We got to know what kind of stain is that? Maybe you can ask the contractor to do a acid wash after your Reno?

$350 for both Veneer Door and frame is very good price...my ID quoted me $350 just for the door alone.

I think its ok for bedroom door but not ok for toilet door.

I think the most important is the front door facing direction is one of your "Best" direction based on your Kua number. Secondly, your Bed and sleeping position is pointing to your good Kua direction, thirdly, the cooking Hop knot is facing your Good direction too. If you happen to have a wrong house which is not your best, especially the front door...the only remedy is to build a partition to change the direction of the chi...and try not to activate the element within the corner. Just my 2 cents...I might be wrong.

I don't think you can have multiple suppliers...the bank only pay in one l lump sum and to 1 contractor only.

I'm using it for the past 12 years...so far, my kitchen cabinet is still looking good. Only issue is washing the metal filter is abit more troublesome as it is full of Grease.

IMHO, shoes or slipper behind a wall is ok, no issues at all. Just keep that area clean and fresh. If that corner is NW, it will be the best to have the Altar there as NW represent Heaven...

Just a suggestion...seal up the original Kitchen entrance and open a new entrance near the Shelter area. Place your Buddha beside the Main door facing the Living window.(this is the best position.) Are you aware that Buddha/Goddess should not be facing/place in front of the dinner table, this is disrespectful as we are eating meaty food as Buddhas are Vegetarian. Do you know the direction of all corners of your house? What is the Main door corner direction?
