Hi, I also need to replace my bedroom doors and door frames and kitchen door and door frame. was quoted $500+ for a solid timber veneer door and $200 for a door frame. Is this price reasonable? Also, wondering if it would be cheaper to get frosted glass doors (only hinge, no frame required) instead. Appreciate if anyone has any advice, thanks.

Hi, I have just bought a resale 2 room apartment and now looking into renovating it. As the apartment is really small and does not come with storeroom, I am considering converting the small toilet at the yard area (laundry area beside the kitchen) into a storeroom. I have consulted 2 IDs about this and received contradicting opinions - one say can do but the other reminded me that the toilet (even after converting into a storeroom) will be humid as the gulley is not tight sealed and there may be smell also....now i am confused....anyone has similar experience to share? thank you.

Hi all, I am a newbie in this forum and also newbie to renovation. Just bought a resale apartment and researching on renovation contractors. Anyone heard of or tried Fu Hua (contractor) before? I came across an apartment they are working on and the uncle there (think he is the boss or something supervising the work himself) and managed to have a chat with him, seem like a nice person but could not tell the workmanship yet as the apartment renovation work was still on-going. Please share your experience with me regarding Fu Hua. If you have any reliable contractor, please also recommend me. Thank you.
