will it be a good idea to have WIW if i seldom have the time to do house cleaning? like the idea of WIW but seems that it is very dusty from what i read.

this is definitely poor workmanship. a good carpenter wont leave any gaps between join laminate.

here it goes for bay window: cheap - laminate normal - solid surface top expensive - granite top granite top come in 6ft per slap. so if your bay window is longer than 6ft, you will see a join line. solid surface dun have any join lines but less resistant to scratches. laminate with matt finish is scratch resistant. gloss finish is less scratch resistant. it comes in 8ft by 4ft. so will only see join line after every 8ft.

if you are looking for seamless joint I think you can use spray paint carpentry instead of laminate one. like what jaskel said, that ABS trimming, commonly used for laminate wood.

you are just custom made a study table? if you have other carpentry work I believe you can get a better rate. you can check with my ID. he gives good design in custom made carpentry and good price.

what kind of wood is that? laminate surface? whats the price like?

best is to replace the bottom wood with tiles instead so you wont have such problem in the future. but how come in the first place the sink is leaking? been a long time using it? have to stop the leaking first.

overlaying of toilet floor tiles is common. But i dun think its that safe to overlay wall tiles. the gravity will cause it to tilt.

if you need to hide electrical wiring, use a feature will be better. wallpaper give you better texture feel.
