hi there, found another neighbour look forward to see the complete look of your home
-
hi, we're neighbours now a good idea to change the toilet theme, it'll make the whole place run as one theme
-
The Home is almost complete, except for the dining set. Temporary we're using the ikea norvald series till we get one which match our home. for the chairs, we decide on this dark walnut from ikea Thought of having a lamp at the console, where the xmas tree now is.... which do you think is nice?
-
MBR blinds up other side of the MBR, which can clearly see my hubby has gained this territory close up of the blind (MBR)

staying in our new home on christmas day... i have no qualms about it some new photos from my last upload Living room - ceiling fan from Fanco (bought in Balestier). Love the bronze color and the 'hamburger' lighting Living room - console and coffee table from casa italy blinds up for the living room close up of the blind (living room)

Hi everyone, MERRY CHRISTMAS! phew.... shifting was easier than i though but the packing... The whole house is still a mess after 3 weeks i am giving up and till my mood is back, i'm not going to touch those things that are piling in the living room. Everything in the house is almost done. Blinds were up today, we're going to seal up that 'hole' with a bronze mirror. MIL room will have a built-in wardrobe which will be completed on sat. Store shelves up in mid Jan. Oh yes, can't live without it i shall upload more pictures these few days
-
love tat deep blue glossy laminate feasible for the older kitchens where it comes in 'great lengths'. New houses will not be able to do do so but with some adjustments, this theme can still apply
-
okay... it's finally over, we can concentrate on our furniture and appliances sourcing Our sofa will arrive on this sat. Meanwhile we grabbed this samsung refrigerator RT53EAMT @ $699 LG washer WFT80GOOTED @ $599

well well... nothing much to update you guys.... Need some suggestion here... my tv would be against this small wall Do you think i should do feature wall or buy a console? Price is not a concern, juz tat i worry it will not blend into the rest of the reno. Oh ya, fyi, there'll be a BIG fish tank on the right

initial plan was to move in before the hungry ghost festival, which is why we requested to collect the keys earlier than the 2nd appointment. But now... we have to wait after the 100days before moving in.
-
most welcome, Marcussy It would be after the hungry ghost festival
-
congrats on your buy! Lorong ah soo, my playground for almost 30 years more pics more pics

hmm, at the moment the Owner still has a key to the letterbox coz they are still in a midst of updating the address to all the bodies. yea, the divider i like that too. We can display our photos on the 'headboard'. We tried opening all windows and off the aircon, woo....! Windy! not those kind of wind that would mess up your hair... A gentle breeze in the house... tat's what we like and the house looks brighter with them open too
-
thanks for the info, skyblue. I wouldnt know we can change the letterbox lock before you mention some pics we took on the key collection day...... the knocks on the pillar TV area - would be getting a simple piano white console the MBR - looked spacious without the bedframe
-
i am quite careless when comes to all these too... Din find anything wrong until my hubby brought up some issues: - - wall paint came off in the MBR (we suspected the bed frame knocked against the wall when they shifted it out) - lightings not working for most of the lightings (we did a transfer in power supply hence lightings should all be okay) Other details you may want to take note: - - Try ALL the keys being handover to you, ensure all locks have the access key (even for window grilles, letterbox) - flooring, any deep, visible scratches which wasnt there when you went for viewing (if you are hacking the floor then this doesnt matter) - aircon, any leakage
-
yup yup, it was us i wasnt keen to get this unit initially coz of the size... But after viewing other houses, this is still the ultimum. We will not do any renovation, just going to give it a fresh coat of paint, buy the furniture and appliances thats all. When do you plan to shift in?
-
thanks for everyone's concern and well wishes... much appreciated. We had done the handover and spotted afew knocks on the wall which wasnt there when we last inspected the house. Most lightings were not working too Now hubby is liasing with the agent to iron these hiccups.
-
guess we can gather a Jln Tenteram clan now... I'm in blk 17 Marcussy, congrats on your buy! Too bad where was no larger unit in that area when we were scouting. We saw our neighbour's and the living room was big and squarish. More pics more pics!!

Plans changed over last week... My FIL passed on after fighting in the icu for 3 days... It was hard for all of us, especially my MIL, whom the two of them were very close. With the help of the relatives and friends, we were glad things are more or less settled now, and all of us are moving on with our lives. I missed his 'lou bah', bak kut teh, sambal kangkong, fried noodles...... And his voice.... he would always come home and kept calling for Baby (the doggie) until Baby responded with a bark. Next week is the key collection but the excitement's gone...
