Aubrey was asking mrspiglet what she needed to help her bug uncle for and how to say =p On a side note, yay i managed to get uncle yesterday (never fly airplane!) and he quoted me on the spot. But i was abit overexcited and forgot to clarify the details of various items on my quote (like when he say install backsplash for kitchen does he mean the entire length of my kitchen cabinets or just the cooking area etc). Will have to go through his quote slowly to come up with a list of things that need to be clarified with him first. Die lah, i afraid of communication problems with him leh. I keep on forgetting what certain words are in chi, and tripping over my words...My brain haven't switched to "full chinese" mode in such a long time le.... the last time was in JC during chinese class and that was aeons ago!.... >_<"...

Are you going to derive all your kitchen lights from just 1 central lighting? If so, then there is no avoiding dark spots no matter what shape of lightings you get. If all the light for the kitchen is going to come from the ceiling centre then there will be dark corners, shadows thrown by your furniture and whatnot will also create darkspots.

Do you guys think there will be much discounts for TVs at PC show? Sorry, last few IT exhibitions I never go look at TVs before so no idea.. =p

Just went there yesterday. I think it's 03-15. It's near to Brighton. Weirdly enough, Simmons doesn't list a simmons gallery in IFC, and the IFC webbie states that 03-15 is Ackerman & Smith, and there isn't a Simmons gallery listed in the IFC tenant listing...Never update?

She also say don't want to knock down wall cz after MOP may want to sell it off and upgrade to something bigger (hopefully within blk79 =p The location is **** good man...) So think leave bdrm 2 as a study and wardrobe area bah. Our budget tight, maybe wont do build in wardrobes but buy ready made ones... But very weird right, imagine you working at the study table then your wife come in to change.... I have no idea how i'm going to remain focused on my work =p Btw, did any of you guys do any thing to conceal the hsehold shelter door? I think it's very "outstanding" in a very bad way.... =S yup. Thinking of making a platform against the back wall of the MBR to put our queen sized bed. think the head of the bed put against the window and the feet towards the blank wall. think of doing a little feature wall on the blank wall and mount a TV there. Hello all! Just bought a unit at 79A during HDB's balloting excercise end of last year. Picked up the keys only this March. So nice to see so many forummers also living in the same block! I'm formerly from CCK while wifey is from Redhill so we're total aliens to TPY =p. So please guide us along ok? =) Anyway me and the wifey were looking at space planning for our new house but really very headache. 75sqm 4-rm very hard to allocate space leh. Did any of you guys managed to fit in a queen-size bed and a suitably sized wardrobe into your MBR?? I was doing the footprints for those using masking tape on the floor and I can't figure out how leh....

There are some shops that specialise in selling mattress. Example would be The Mattress Centre at 8 Jalan Ismail. I think it's best to determine which mattress you want to buy first (that is within your budget) before you go and see where to buy. I think when to buy is important too. Think Robinson's sale! =p
