hey ivy jie, i made mention of your place to ah keong already but i not sure how much he absorbed lah cz he was bz cutting my ss backing. But he was nodding his head and making "uh-huh" noises. If you make a call to uncle to request for him, think he can come over ur hse to touch up. After my place he seems to be busy with someone else's hse in sengkang (which he told me has had their reno dragged for nearly 3 months liao ) V happy w ystrday as Ah Tan came up and fixed up all the lightings and wirings. woohoo!! love my quiet ventilation fans and wardrobes/cabinets lighting. Bad thing though was that he bought a wireless doorbell, and i paid for it and he installed it before we discovered where the power outlet for the doorbell was (hdb and their nonsensical way of running concealed wiring. The goddamn doorbell wiring outlet is near my ceiling in my *kitchen* near the gas piping!! who would think to look there???!! ) ... so now i have *two* doorbells outside my front door. 1 provided by HDB and 1 installed by Ah Tan But must blame ah pui (previous electrician) more, cz he misled me into thinking got no wires for the doorbell and have to buy wireless (which left me scratching my head as to why HDB would provide me with a doorbell button lidat... stupid me...) In the end spent nearly $145 for all the t5's + doorbell ah tan bought for me. eurgh. abit the expensive doorbell alone $30+ w/ battery le... but nvrmind it looks nice to me. Bought dinner for both Ah tan and Ah keong to eat again as they work until very late. nearly 8 when ah tan left and still left ah keong touching up my paint.... Wah, ah tan powerful. after my place still rushing off to another hse to help someone else do the wiring Bifold door is also up and i'm happy that it matches the mbr colour scheme (very hard to foul up white colour scheme also right? =p ). Why i say this? Cz uncle/bo geh nvr give me any catalogue or choice for my bifold and jz went to auto order on their own. lucky it's a good choice =) And as usual, ah keong is no horse run. Helped me again to touch up on the painting of my doorframes even though it was after 8 le. Now from snaking to straight lines. . Sorry ah b_d, but i think ah keong is taking over your place in my heart liao hahahaha =p But i think ysterday was the last i'm going to see for him unless got anymore touchup/rectification to do. told me tommorrow it's elder goh coming up with his team to clean up my house le.

haha you moving to cck which part? i'm living with my parents in cck right now. if you want nursery there's one along bukit timah road near the super busy junction where it connects up to cck road and bt panjang road. Also got another one near the KPE, far behind the buddhist temple near sunshine place.

For example blue_diamond, freddyprince and me all start reno roughly within a few days of each other. Now me and freddyprince finishing up le but b_d still haven't finalise carpentry yet. Eh, b_d not suaning you ah, just let jesslyn know the reality. So don't go hijack and drama drama ah =p Don't need to go 全高. Just do the cabinets high enough then for the remaining gap you just ask the carpenter to provide a piece of wood (laminated off course) to seal it off. No point do the cabinets so high that in the end you will need to use a ladder to reach it. Don't do 全高 also got advantage (and never seal up lah). You can use the space on top of the cabinets for display shelving, or maybe run lights on top or put plants. make your kitchen look more spacious and cosy!

i got plotter in the office. I print for him at 1:1 scale then he can use to wallpaper his house le =p

Cannot confirm yet lah. it's very disheartening, discomfiting, and downright scary for my continued existence to depend on uncle to HO on time... T_T so if you guys can ah, remember to add me in your prayers and "xi1 wang4 wo3 ping2 an1 wu2 shi4" ah... =p Eh? He knows about your place ah. Yesterday i was talking to him abt pasir ris 101 and he mention pasir ris 101 got brother at clementi one right. And i told him yes yes. but i'm more familiar with the wives on both side lah. Then he shoot me weird look (or did i imagine that? =p).

Super happy day. (ystrday) Went up to the house and was surprised by Four Eyes/Ah Keong. Fix up most if not all the grouses i had with painting. Especially the door with the garish varnish. He said he look already also uncomfortable so he went and buy paint to repaint it. Now it's the same colour as the door frame. Still weird lah to have 1 side of the door to be different colour from the rest. But at least now not so "outstanding". The larger chunk of SS backing also torn down. Cz Ah Keong cut the hole for the sockets wrongly (cannot blame him, he had to resort to knocking on the backing to look for hollow spots to locate the power socket. In the end, end up opening a hole where there was a lobang in the wall tiles which uncle nvr patch back before sticking the backing on... ... ) But from the black sealant applied onto the remaining piece of SS backing, i find it very satisfactory! Ah Keong also fixed up the lobangs left in my tiles after the extendable laundry rack provided by HDB was taken down. This one i actually forgot to tell him to do but he very "zi dong". Also installed doorstop for the MBR door and will be installing one for the main door as well tmr. woo hoo. Also finally got a chance to meet the legendary electrician Ah Tan who will be taking over from Ah Pui who did the electric stuff in my hse before. Hahaha, Ah Tan looks alot like my wife's eldest uncle who happens to be an electrician for HDB. Maybe they know each other? =p Ah Tan took a look at the works to be done and will be purchasing the stuff needed and coming up to install everything tommorrow after his 2pm appointment. Hope it's true, because his is the last major piece of work le. Lastly, uncle also tells me the bifold door and glass for mounting my exhaust fan all done up by Bo Geh le and will be delivered by him tmr. So seems everything major will be completing within these two days!! All these happened when i was about to call uncle to set deadline with him somemore! lol. Looks like (if all goes well) don't need le! In light of all these happenings, i think i'm gonna call for all my stuff to be delivered and citygas to come and connect my hob up on Tuesday! Wish me luck!!
