I called them yesterday to check the order status and they told me the delivery will be delayed due to shipment delay. What a standard excuse... <sweating>... After express my dissatisfaction, the salesguy call me to apology and explain the reason. Very quick action and sincere. Quite appreciated. However, the delay is quite unacceptable as I have ordered these items 8 weeks in advance! I suppose 8 weeks are more than enough time? Plus the salesguy 100% confirm with me there wont be any delay. I already tried to avoid those FAMOUS shops (famous in not delievery on time) and come to this OM due to its reputation and good reviews from some forumers. But see what happen now... Anyway, the salesguy gave me 2nd delivery date which is 1 week later than the expected delivery date and 100% sure no more delay. Will wait and see.

Salesgirl frmo HN told me, this is very old model. All washing mode die die have to use hot water. Newever model, you can choose cold/hot water to wash for any mode. Cold water can save some electricity. As for the noise, DD definately more queit than belt. However, The price of this model really hard to resist. Hahaha...

I only received 1 letter of inspection nia, which is before 1st appt. No letter of inspection after that. Thanks born_again! I shall contact the officer for advice. Thanks pinkpetter! Will do so.

I have checked out various brands and models of washer in HN last weekend, I can say the door of LG washer is the most firm one. The rest feel like will fall apart just a simple knock. Hahaha...

Story: The seller hacked down the wall to make 2 rooms into 1. He promissed to build up the wall for me at his expense and I am the one liasing with contractor as I am the one who need to accept the final outcome. Meantime, ask the contractor to fix the illegal reno as well. But till today, still no action at all. Not even know who is the contractor! And the completion date is 22nd June! What I can do?

Yes, HDB awared of this illegal reno. I dun wish to delay completion leh coz no place to stay after mth end. Check with lawyer abt compensation? You mean the lawyer that help to process of resale transaction? We taking bank loan. Thanks.

Hi all, when signing OTP, seller agreed to do some reno works I have requested and to fix the illegal reno works such as bomb shelter hole boxed up. All these things are written down in Inventory List & Option form. However, if seller unable to fulfill his promises when completion date is up. What I can do ah? Thanks for all advices.

Hi all, I am intending to do a kitchen glass door with height abt 2.45 meter, which is from the floor all the way to the ceiling. But my contractor told me, no one is doing that coz cannot use HDB lift. My house is at 17th floor, no way to carry up using staircase. Is that true? Anyone has done the glass door with at least 2.4m height? If yes, got pic to show is the best. Thanks!!!

After meeting with contractor-to-be last nite, I have temporary given up the idea to re-do the toilet. As the ex-owner did done some deco to the MBR toilet with all tempered glass type. Basin, vanity top, door, shower screen all using glass, just without cabinet. Quite nice to me, but my wife not really like it. As for the painting part, I really have nv tot of all these things! What a lazy me!! Nv do enuf homeworks! Hahaha.... Oh ya... Do you have any recommendation to the paint you have suggested? Mould guard paint - ?? Oil and water resistance paint - ??
