guess its always better to keep extras....even if we don't use can do other things, my dad actually uses his tiles to do a water feature in the living room...

usually they will leave behind the tiles....i still have my tiles from the present house reno 10 years ago.... very useful....recently have to build a kerb. luckily got tiles so still look ok....

all cabinets up already... very nice ....i like the laminate of the kitchen cabinet... all should be done by this week?

I juz got quote from him...not bad...now must calculate all the lighting points to see how much electrical adds up... hubby will call him as i think he left out 2 things notin quote... overall agree that his pricing reasonable just don't know about workmanship...maybe will ask him showus someof the place he doing now....

Me staying in woodlands and moving to an EA @ bukit panjang in june... 1) Guess you are doing an upgrading like me, no prob getting HDB loan...i got it... 2) so far for mine EA quotation is from 30k to 40k depending for all floorings, kitchen and toilet overhaul, false celings, doing some partition here and there.... 3) My agent very self motivated and responsible one...i think the way she talk , she quite convincing....and she work out the financial planning for us as well as help to get a better valuation report.....i guess there's no 100% perfect agent or reno contractor...Its a matter of how comfy you are with the person and most important can communicate with so if there's anything that needs clarification or retification,we can talk to them.... nope...3 weeks ago went on sat..so crowded!!! last week went on Thursday...not much people and the sales person can slowly look thru the tiles with us and gave more advice.... Was it crowded when you were there? Manage to choose your tiles?

you know what? that's what hubby told me...coz that area will have shoe cabinet so he was saying can't see dirt and if i wear pointy heels don't have to worry scratches...hahaha... guess he's right...

hey!! thanx lei...thought it was pretty plain as compared to what i've seen in other forummers' blog....but we decided this time we wanted to keep it simple and not too much colour in the house...my present house very colourful as in the paint works.... i know about the toilet tiles....that is my main worry also... hai~~ whichever contractor doing for me will to assure no problems to align...who can take up the challenge?

Below are the tiles we chose from Hafary....this is the second time we've been there...hopefully this will be the final selection... Left : Living, Dining Room Right: Wet Kitchen area Balcony -Torn between these 2 choices, will update Foyer area - we are deciding whether to have different tiles for the foyer or maybe should go for the brown one...seems like this one too dark... Common Toilet Top: Wall Tiles - Wonder if contractor can align properly...It'll look ugly if not done proper.... told hubby if contractor not confident then we should go for non design kind of wall tiles....(TBA) Bottom : Floor MBR Toilet Top : Wall Bottom : Floor

based on your experience... is it more economical to get it there? My cousin bugging me to get it from JB.

from what u gather, its actually 2 different brands...no relation to each other...most will recommend mitshibitshi starmex.... i'm not sure about performance...
